USA plus 1.5 seems high with Holiday and Rapinoe out. This seems like it should be closer to a pick um.

China doesn't have the greatest attack, but their defense has been fairly solid. Similar to the US, except the US is better. I will be utterly shocked were the US not to win. I'm actually a little surprised it's only -1.5, but I guess with the way all the other games have gone people are skeptical. Of all the games, I thought this one would make most sense at -2.5

The US is liking what it sees from the Germany/France game. Helluva game. Sill tied up in OT.

Yep, that was horrible. And yes, the refs are about as awful as I've seen both ways.
I'm a huge Germany fan. Still pissed off that they have 1, 2 and 3 on the same side of the bracket. BS.

We've got to take advantage of all these opportunities. The defensive pressure is giving us plenty of scoring chances off China's turnovers. Rodriguez has brought a lot of energy to the team, and our passing is much crisper. So far we haven't missed Rapinoe and Holliday.

But the bottom line is we've got to put the ball in the net. We can't keep coming away with nothing. We don't want to dominate the whole game and then lose on a fluke goal by China because of our wasted opportunities.

And worse yet, we don't want to get into a situation where the game is decided on penalty kicks at the end.

We'll be fine. Our conditioning will be the difference in the 2nd half.

So far this is tactically the best game the USA has played all tournament by a large margin.
