I don't have verification, but someone had mentioned that the blonde was actually shopping in a wheel chair prior to her getting up and wanting to fight.

This WalMart is a quarter of a mile away from my work. It's a decent area, but for some reason this WalMart has all kinds of problems. Yesterday a shop lifter fled from there and the police gave chase. They stopped after a mile so the public wouldn't get harmed. A little later the culprit saw another police car, panicked, ran a red light and hit two cars head on killing one and leaving two in critical condition.

Earlier in the year there was a shoot out with some guys selling cell phones. I suspect a lot of this goes on because this WalMart sits right next to the highway, so there's a quick get away available to them.

Unfortunately, Indy is like all big cities. Plenty of idiots around.

I was born at St. Francis, when it resided in the heart of BG. Didn't live there, but not far. Had a ton of friends from Holy Name, so know the area well. There are several bad areas surrounding that Walmart.

3. If you are a male, particularly a bigger one (like the guy in the blue cut off) and you don't try and break the fight up, you aren't a man.

4. All people involved, including the bystanders watching and taping, should have some kind of punishment.

Yesterday on South 4th street in the Grove, a policeman shot and killed a guy. He was on his porch with a gun threatening to kill himself. Police arrived to diffuse the situation. He came into the street and evidently aimed the gun and one of the officers, who then obliged the mans suicide request.

Neighbors say it wasn't the first time he's done that and has shown mental problems for years.

The Grove's getting a lot of unwanted publicity.

The WalMart in my neighborhood is kind of like this. Not this bad, but it does seem to draw a disproportionate number of idiots compared to the other stores in the area, considering that it's in a fairly nice, safe area.

Whoa, really? In most of my encounters with police (not many, personally), I've gotten the impression that they don't want bystanders to intervene and risk getting hurt themselves.

I don't know about this. I did not watch the video, but aside from making sure the kid was out of harm's way, why should anyone step in and break it up? About the only time I'd step in to break up a fight is if one side is clearly outmatched and getting his ass handed to him (e.g. multiple people pounding on one person or someone who is on the ground and not a threat but the other person continues to beat on him). Apart from that, if two grown adults want to beat on each other over some real or perceived injustice, and no innocent bystanders are put in danger, let 'em go at it. We're supposed to expect regular people to step in and risk getting their asses kicked because the tried to play hero? I spent a good while in the bar/night club business, so I've broken up my fair share of fights. If you don't do it right, you can cause more harm then good by stepping in, by escalating the situation and having three combatants instead of two. Just dial 911 and let the idiots wear themselves out after a minute or so, and will be too busy sucking wind with their hands on their knees to cause anymore problems.

Right, totally agree. If somebody is getting badly beaten, then I think bystanders should intervene, but those women were slap-fighting and wrestling; it did not appear that either was getting badly hurt, even the one that was pinned. I think intervening may have done more harm than good.

Disagree about the level of danger. The one woman was face down and taking multiple blows to the head from the other. To add, the kid is beating her in the head with cans of white rain.....

To add, the child was right there. What if the woman on the bottom, while defending herself rears up, grabs a can off the shelf, and the kid accidentally gets in the way.

I watched the video yesterday. It's one of the most disgusting and disturbing videos I've ever watched. The white-trash mother didn't yell to her son, GO GET HELP, she yelled, HIT HER IN THE FACE! The kid is jumping around wanting to fight, so imagine the upbringing that kid has. That little boy will have ZERO chance in life.

The "disabled" woman has enough strength and energy to get out of the cart and fight someone. If this woman is on some type of disability I truly hope someone witnessed or watched this. This video is another reason why I stopped shopping at Walmart. My wife and I are members at Sam's Club, but I've never witnessed any issues there where we shop.

Unfortunately this is why I like to stay home. There were several people there that could have stopped this but chose not to and recorded it instead. If you watch closely there is another man filming as well in the distance. With the ever increasing of people with smartphones, we get to see human nature in its finest.

I agree with this as that's how I was raised. However, you go to pull these people apart, you might get sued, you might get arrested, you might get hurt (who knows what either of these people are carrying).

I will say though that store security should have been there and getting broken up right away.

That apparently is a different video from what I first watched. Seems like many were recording it. The woman in the background saying, "he's only protecting his mother" and "their not really fighting", is a piece of human waste too. That kid is a PSYCHO.
