Was told by an IE member that an offer is coming. Has a long standing Boise offer which means Sanford has seen him closely. Started following CBK, cMD, cAD and A. Ivins from BGI in the past week. I heard from a PAC asst coach who said thy were on the fence about him because of fit but they offered too since I heard that. Plays CB at 6-3 but also WR and some DT / wildcat QB. at 205 already could be an OLB someday too.

Plays in the Sacremento area against below average CA competition (compared to the best of the Bay or the LA/IE/OC teams) They played one very good team, Folsom, and got destroyed by QB Jake Browning.

Sounds like a football player. His 40 is listed at 4.46 but even if he's just a 4.6 he'd make a fine FS some day.

No Stanford offer? Hmmm?

247 lists Boise, Colorado and fU of Michigan as his leaders.

Jackson said Notre Dame is a "top-of-the-line" program and that if it offers then it could easily move into his top group. USC and UCLA are still basically tied at the top because he said those coaching staffs talk to him and his family the most but he remains open to others as well.

Adam Gorney at Rivals said he might be the best pure S on the west coast.

Gorney also said that there is no question that he'll jump into the Rivals 250 after they saw him twice in Vegas and then coming up again on May 10th.

I don't want to turn this into another Daelin Hayes I told you so thread but look at that picture right here and be honest, if he's 6-3 how does he stay safety sized for his college career? He looks big now. I bet we are looking at a S to OLB type like a some guys I won't mention.

Now if he is a 4.46, 6-3, 205 CB, he can write his ticket anywhere. If he does keep growing he takes his ball skills to positions that will set him apart from the rest. Very intriguing prospect.

Up to 81 overall at Rivals.

Needs an offer.

I know of a PAC-12 DC that has him at the top of his wish list. The lack of Stanford action does raise the question of books. I mean, he's a NorCal kid and all they do is recruit DB's. They must have told him at 6-3, 205... he'd be a DT in their scheme.

He has as much upside as any S in Cali, IMO. At least from what I've seen. I absolutely love his upside.

Haha, quality. That could be the only reason I could think of is academics but we offer a lot of kids that need work, unless he needs that much work.

Haha, right. Hopefully we get the honest look he's mentioning.

Lucky... You wanna open up an office for ND's westcoast recruiting needs? I hear outsourcing is all the rage.

I really wish you'd jump on Marquel Dismuke and Michael Alves' bandwagons. I'm having no luck getting these two offers on my own. ;-)

"It's big," Jackson said. "I had been kind of anticipating an offer from them. I had been talking to [offensive coordinator] Mike Sanford and communicating with him through the whole process. He was at my school and then we were talking almost everyday, and he finally pulled the trigger today.

"I'm definitely going to give Notre Dame a look. USC and UCLA are the two schools that people always talk about, but that's because it's easy for me to visit and I have been [to both places] twice. I'm looking for the school that's going to give me the best chance to play and that includes Notre Dame."
"Notre Dame said they just wanted to watch some more film," Jackson said when asked about the timing of the offer. "Coach Sanford said that the secondary coach really liked my footwork and my ability to play safety, so that's a pretty good thing. They want me to play safety and most of the other schools do as well."

he has no set plans this summer when it comes to college visits, but he did mention that a trip to South Bend could be in the works - See more at: https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1771033#sthash.toll1Zva.dpuf

"It's just the way he goes about things," Jackson said when asked about Sanford. "The way he talks, the way he carries himself, I respect that a lot. Like he tells me like a straight up guy and how it is, and I respect that, as well."

USC, UCLA, Oregon and Notre Dame are starting to stand out

"Once I cut my list I want to stick to strong to whatever my top is," Jackson said. "That's why I'm glad Notre Dame got in there before I make dramatic cuts to the list … Notre Dame — I'm pretty sure — without making a visit they are going to make my top." - See more at: https://notredame.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1773254#sthash.vP12rPXn.dpuf

Looks like he flunked math. He listed 10 schools not 7.

He listed 10 and it says his Top 10.

I just contemplated the same thing for a minute then looked back a few posts and it said he would be cutting it to seven.

Glad I'm not alone. I actually counted the logos twice and thought maybe that was a K State Logo in the upper left and tyat would have really jacked up the count.
