Now Notre Dame decides to offer, just a week too late.

While I never wanted to offer him in the first place
Morgan said the coaches "lost contact" with him during the transition of area recruiters.
"They said they felt they should've offered a while ago and apologized," Morgan said.
BVG doesn't do anything guy can't recruit, watch tape or stop a spread offense. He's been useless ever since the UNC game. I am honestly afraid we won't play on New Years and he will be the reason for that. Yes,we had a thousand injuries last year but I just never really liked the hire. I might be the minority hear but he scares me to death
interesting view GB. Hope ur wrong on this.
It seems like we are a step behind on a lot of recruits. Maybe that was their plan all along, right Pandfan?
Flips/Semi-Flips from 2015 Recruiting Class:
Brandon Wimbush (Penn St.)
Josh Barajas (Penn St.)
Aliz'e Jones (UCLA)
Shaun Crawford (Michigan)
Dexter Williams (Miami)
Those were five of the crown jewels from last year's class. Clearly, we're employing a revolutionary new strategy where we wait for a recruit to commit to another school before offering, then explain why we're 1000 times better than the team they originally committed to. The strategy appears to be working like a charm. Last year we flipped over 20% of our class. This year, BVG seems set on flipping at least 40%. If we continue on this pace, the Class of 2019 will be ALL FLIPS. I love it. It's bold, its fresh, it's a game changer in the recruiting world. Take notes Urban.
I'd usually be mad about the late offer, but his film lacks that "wow" factor.
So do I man, I think he was severely out coached in a lot of games last year and for someone who has been calling defenses for twenty years he was always two steps behind. Could it have been due to injuries last year? Sure I think that played a role but I think he is getting his ass kicked on the field and on the trail.
But, but but....next Su'a Cravens.
I still like his film, but he doesn't fit the mold of safety that we need. He's more of a hybrid like Traanquill, and will probably end up moving to LB.
So you were actually serious about the Su'a Cravens comparison?
Get over it people...this isn't an elite player and staff needed to see more film on coverage man to man...he set up his commit date with his friends...and then we decided later to offer...there are many others out there with similar or better skills...also bvg chooses offers on def....all def offers go through him in response to someone?

We were saying the same thing last year. Then we stuck out on Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, Plan D...
Think he's probably a gamer but I don't think we go here. We have a lot of S targets on the board that I like better. Crazy good kid and perfect fit, just not the player we need.
Nicco is vastly more talented than Chacho. Nicco's game is limited but he extremely good at what he does and will be great in a role fit for him whereas Chacho imo is just not a high D1 talent even as 4th or 5th stringer. So you still think Chacho gets a spot at the end of the year? If I'm gonna take a flyer, I'll take Morgan. He can at least grow into a LB, whereas Chacho is Nicco 2.0.
ND got too much traction with the guys back east for the Cali guys to wait it out.
Be interesting to see why he chose to open it back up.
