Nice win by the cards today, pitching staff has been lights out. If we can get consistency on offense it should be a great season barring any injuries.

Cubbie fans took one on the chin today. Bryant going 0-4 and then they got screwed with that bad call on what should have been a strikeout. I literally said, "watch him go deep now"... Then BOOM.

Ol Shark was dealing for the Sox today. Looked real good.

That home plate uno screwed them majorly.

Cards and Angels both rock the throwbacks today... It's a good day

I really wish the Cardinals would spend some money and get a big time hitter. Last year we finish somewhere in the bottom 5-7 in runs scored and we're around 23rd again this year. The best pitching in the league wont win games if we're struggling to score 1-2 runs a game. Did alright last week and its still early so im hoping it doesn't last

The Royals are a bunch of punks. They have 9 ejections already this season. Ventura has been ejected twice. I wish Shark would have knocked him on his ass.

Shark needs to get out of the southside, imo. They are a hot mess.

If you have only been watching the highlights, or listening to ESPN then you aren't getting the full story on any of this. People have been coming at the Royals.
The only two times where a Royal started it, or it was just stupid on their part was, Yordano Ventura w/ Trout, and Herrera with Lawrie. Shark was talking ish from the dugout through the entire game last night. Opening day he hit two Royals and talked afterwards to Cain specifically. I love Shark, but we all know he's a talker and a tough guy.
The Royals have been standing up for themselves most of the time, they've been hit more than any other team by a big margin. Even last night Eaton started jawing to Ventura first. All that said, the Royals need to grow up a bit (especially Ventura) and not allow lesser teams than them bait them into this stuff. The Royals are like 16-4 in their last 20 vs the Chi Sox, no wonder they want to try fighting instead of baseball.

Dude, I have nothing against the Royals, but the Trout one ( as you noted) was completely on KC, Ventura (I think it was) just started staring down Trout and talking mess like he wanted to fight for no reason.... Then benches cleared... That's enough really, then add the four others... Lol.... Anyway, having played baseball for many years it's not a bad thing IMO... Helps a team come together and other teams will know that if you come inside too much or say the wrong thing, better be ready for blows... But, there is a real reason why it keeps happening to this team, no doubt.

100% agree Camper.

Yordano is like that little buddy that talks too much and gets his buddies in fights. As a team they definitely carry themselves in a way that I could see bugging opponents or opposing fans, but I love it. They are having fun, and they are a tight group who "has each other's backs", as they love to say.

Again though, nationally they are pushing this bad boy stuff. Locally and in the interviews you hear w/ the team, and fans it's different. A "protect our family" type deal vs starting stuff, it has crossed the line a couple times though.

First off you don't stare down the best player in the game let alone on the that is probably as good off the field as he is on.

Watching MLBNet and just heard the Halos traded Hamilton back to the Rangers for nothing... Obviously I'm assuming the Rangers take most of the salary??? If the Angels just gave a former MVP back to a division rival while still back half, or more of his salary... Yikes

I haven't read up on it this AM yet but yesterday I saw a positivity of the Rangers only covering 15 mil of the remaining 83 mil on his contract.

It sucks, but it's not like the pitching will suddenly be bad.

The entire staff leads the MLB with a 1.98 ERA before today. That's not one guy.

Has anyone else felt as tho this is odd? (empty Baltimore) I have never heard of such a thing. and only shows that the stadium doesn't need our attendance in order to thrive.

I wonder if the announcer still talked over the loud speaker, or they played the music.
The PA announcer is an official part of the rules. A pitching change or pinch hitter only becomes "official" when announced.

How sucky is this and losing a whole other series for staff at the stadium who may depend on those pay checks....
