...use multiple slot receivers at one time because all of the speed.

...use way more 2-RB sets, especially using CJ as one of the RB's and motioning him out to the slot. Give the defense some things to think about.

...bring back some under-center ace formation stuff to get the TE's their reps against LB's, to improve playaction, and to make the defense concerned about a downhill attack.

Start the QB that is best for the TEAM.

Become a run first team, call more zone read plays.

Let the kids have some fun and express themselves!

I would just go out and win a national championship. It's like he's just biding his time and letting everyone else have the fun!

Win, regardless of my view on which play is the one us fans think is necessary. Seems he's done just fine In my opinion!

IMO he should of fed Tarean last year more than he did. Golson had a serious issue with protecting the ball, and Folston never fumbles.

I agree! Altho I believe he knew there were some issues from the start. Once Cam fumbled the game away against Northwestern all the run the ball crap should have ceased to exist.. imho

Well I can think of three things I'd like to do. One would involve some ice cubes and a nine iron. Two would include a buffalo, live or stuffed, preferably stuffed for safety sake, and three, I'd bring back some of those ice cubes and switch it over to a pitching wedge.

I would name the 2015 Irish Offense the THUNDER & lightning power spread.

The Thunder pkg would be a double TE set with McGlinchey playing one of the TE with the 2nd string RT manning RT. I'd line up Luatua at HB. MZ of course at QB and Prosise at RB. I'd have Will Fuller split wide and running go routes right at the FS to occupy (try at least) two DB's if not burn 'em. Mostly just pound it down their throats. Bring in 2nd string TE for the 2nd string RT when I want to pass to one of 5 big, ugly, nasty, eligible receivers.

My lesser used Lightning pkg is Golson, 4 WR & Folston. Sling it 66% of the time.

I'd sub in wholesale, Calipari style.

I'd have my Double Trouble pkg too with MZ lined up at RB. I just wouldn't let the fan diagram the plays. 30 years from now, that will be a common set in football. Should have been standard fare 20 years ago.

..go to the NFL.

I think he'd be in over his head personally. He's more of a developer and motivator than an Xs and Os guy.

He made a comment how he didn't like the Northwestern players union talk, as he didn't want to be a "boss" to employees for his coach/player relationship. Maybe it was just talk, but I really don't think he'd do a very good job coaching older guys.

He thought George Atkinson felt entitled. Wait till half his team has that mentality.
