It's going to be hard, but I can't watch those. I feel like I've seen too many trailers and clips from the movie already. I also hope no one spoils anything for me so that pretty much means I can't read anything else about the movie until I see it. I was reading an article about AoU a few weeks ago and with no warning at all they revealed something big that happens in the movie. They did say it was a rumor but often those rumors are true. I was/am seriously pissed about it. Hoping it's just a rumor. I won't reveal what it is because that is a dick move.

I check in on the superherohype.com forums sometimes. I have enjoyed the AoU trailers, but as more and more extended clips come out and the junior novelization came out, I am more hesitant to go there. Marvel has done a decent job of not giving it all away in their trailers and I give them credit for that, because a lot of movies will give out the movie in those sometimes.

Daredevil is separate at this point, I believe. There away rumors that the Netflix MCU characters may show up in Avengers: Infinity Wars in a couple years per this article

‘Daredevil’ Star Charlie Cox Talks ‘Civil War’ & ‘Defenders’ Crossover Potential

I will say, I have heard people say it would make sense for him to be in Captain America: Civil War plot-wise, but I don't know if they would do it or wait until all the Netflix series complete and those characters come together as the Defenders, more street level heroes versus superheroes.

But WTH do I know.

You should watch Daredevil just because it's f'n awesome, but it didn't seem to me like it matters for AoU. I think if anything you should watch Agents of SHIELD before AoU. The events in that show seem to be leading up to AoU and Civil War.

That started out REALLY cool until the footage with Adam West Batman kicked in. Should have used Michael Keaton's Batman.

Oh I definitely WILL watch Daredevil, I'm just not sure if I'll get to 13 episodes by Friday. I'm all caught up on Agents of SHIELD but I was at Disney World last week so I've been working through my DVR and haven't made it to Netflix yet.

The whole "powered people index" and Fury's toolbox are definitely the building blocks for Civil War.

For what they are trying to do with the DC Universe the Leto Joker is supposed to be the combination of the Nicholson and Ledger Joker. As crazy as the Ledger Joker but as smart and cunning as the Nicholson Joker. He is an absolute psycho and this picture embodies this.
