Fox has tried (is trying?) I believe. Forget what their program is called but it's PAC-12 centric.
Real FOX or FS1?

ETA: Does FOX even have any broadcast rights? I think College GameDay is so popular because ESPN usually has the best 12:00 game so people are tuned in there anyways. It's why NFL pregame shows are split between ESPN, FOX, and CBS on Sunday mornings. Most people don't care who's hosting or commenting, they just tune in to wherever the game is.

My Saturday mornings are much less stressful now that I don't watch CGD - I would get so mad watching those guys. It's EPL for me in the AM and then catch the college football games later in the day.

Thats what I've started doing the last 2-3 years. So much better.

Though, as an Arsenal fan, I wouldn't say it's less stressful.

I was going to say NBCSprots would be the perfect network to do it for ND's sake but that would conflict with the professional soccer on Saturdays. Why are so many young Irish football fans into soccer? I don't see it in the real world and I'm in two places I would think lend themselves nicely to the needed demographic? Is it an eastcoast thing?

East coast is easier to view the EPL games since they are usually at 8 and 11 in the morning, compared to 5 and 8 on the west coast. I also think that young people have had more exposure, younger to soccer now. Being in college, playing FIFA with roommates became addicting. Being able to watch the World Cup in 2010 was amazing, especially since I worked the summer in my apartment complex, so I was able to catch a lot of the games. This summer too, I was able to watch almost every game of the World Cup while working at RadioShack.

There is something about soccer that gets people hooked. The traditions, pagentry, rivalries, and rabid fan bases, IMO, attract many college football fans because of the similarities.

Wait, you guys still watch College Game Day?

This. I actually had to research who these two were, I know the names obviously but couldn't pick them out of lineups, and thought, these two guys are different people?? They look exactly the same.

I'm with you guys. Very rarely can they tell us something really interesting.
