When was the second time? I thought he OV'd for the UM game, which would mean he saw ND DO the manhandling.
He was at the debacle in the desert (ASU).

Oy Vey.
Yea, the sad truth is we didn't need to make a playoff run necessarily to get some of these kids but 9-10 wins in the regular season could of at least kept us in the game. I'm very skeptical that any of these top kids, that were already on the fringe, keep us in much contention down the stretch.
Never felt like we had a chance here.
Porter Gustin brought about 30 of his family members to the USC game last weekend and is coming back this weekend. All I need to say about this one
This recruiting cycle is beginning to have a very 2012ish feel to it.
We had a very good chance. He brought a HUGE family contingent to ND and they loved it here. We were always a close 2nd to USC bc of distance, but we were right there...when we were winning. You can't end the season the way we did with him in attendance and expect a shot with a kid like him.

he brought a bunch to South Bend also.
He closed the door on us after his official visit to ND.
I thought so, was surprised to see a new ISD article on him.

Any chance he just goes pro, and we never worry about him as a LB again?
Great a 93 mph fastball but does he have any potential?
Hitting 93 a few times for scouts doesn't seem to me to be cause for going pro out of high school. Hitting 98 is a different story.
That's definitely fast enough to get drafted. But as it was stated above, it matters how god his control and pitch location is
I agree completely, heck there's a 40 rounds in the MLB draft, he's bound to get picked up by someone. I just meant that he wouldn't be a top pick and it would be a better long term decision not to IMO.
