Has he been invited to any of the High School All-American games? Excellent video, but would really like to see what he could do vs better competition!

Even though we may lose out of Soso and Jones, I still really like this pickup.

What kind of back do people see him turning into? He does not run like a power back. Also his level of competition seems so low it is hard to get a read on him. I think he has a very high ceiling but a very low floor.

I don't think he is a power back and it is not needed in BKs offense. What we need is a decisive Back who hits the holes and gets up field quickly

Which is interesting because he is very tall between 6'1 and 6'3 and it is harder to move your hips at that height. He will be a very interesting player for sure.

I am a big fan of short RBs, but I have to admit that Adams is very agile. He's not like GAIII where he just sprints past people. He also stays pretty low until he is in the open field.

Senior Year Highlights - Josh Adams highlights

There is definitely a man among boys dynamic, though. His competition is inferior.

IMO, they could take 2 more RBS, and put him at Safety, if they wanted to.

He isn't an every down back, but he is a good APB. I think we will see him lined up in the backfield and the slot often.

You may be right, Sherm. But when has BK ever used a single back as an every down back. We always seem to have a running back by committee. If he is needed as a running back, he will be ready to rotate with Greg Bryant and any future running back commits when Folston leaves. The real question is when will he be ready to pass block, because BK won't be using him in the backfield until he can.

I could actually see him cutting out a role as a Theo Riddick type of back. I know his style isn't necessarily even close to Theo - he looks more like Cierre Wood to me, but I think he looks like a natural catching the ball out of the backfield and weaving through traffic. I think he's going to be bigger than Cierre with similar agility and speed. I hope he learns how to run with a chip on his shoulder earlier than Cierre (year 4) - if he does ND could get quite a bit of production out of Adams.

The last time was this year, with Folston! Last year was the aberration, because no one was a stand-out.

But most schools, including Alabama and Wisconsin, use a committee.

Our Gray/Wood, Riddick/Wood tandems were good.

Am I the only guy here who loves his HS tape? His competition isn't great but for a tall RB he shows awesome burst and quickness. His pad level is even pretty damn good already and takes contact well. Get him up to 6'2" 230 and he could be a beast. Personally like him more than Dexter Williams but they could be nice compliments to each other.

This is literally the moment that he was told that he'll be playing Free Safety next year...

I just envisioned Brandon Tiassum at FS.

Don't scoff. Jumbo-sized DBs are the wave of the future. Just look at Seattle's Legion of Boom.

Line up 11 DL and play Cover-0 press-man every snap. The entire opposing offense would be injured by the 2nd or 3rd series.

Honestly it may work. I'd have cover 1 and have a safety back there.
