This would be absolutely horrible if true. Not sure if you're asking about Auguste or the reporter. I'm assuming you're asking about the reporter, but for anyone who doesn't know, Auguste is literally our only big man who is doing anything of note this year. 6'10" and averaging 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds. Pat Connaughton plays the 4 for us and is 6'5" and is a guard naturally. We're not even a top-40 team IMO if we don't have Auguste. Our next best forward off the bench statistically is 6'7" Torres who averages 2.7 and 2.3 a game. We're literally screwed without Auguste.

If you're talking about the reporter, no clue. He responded to this tweet and stated that he sent texts to people the school that had read receipts on them and no response. He stands by his source(s), but every reporter does, so who knows.

Gonna be very sad if Auguste is gone for any extended amount of time. Really thought this was the year for a S16. If Geben is getting any more minutes than he is now we're in trouble. Dude just doesn't have the moxy that FR-SO Harangody and Cooley had.

I may cry if this is true. It would be just so classic ND though for something like that to happen when the team is doing well.

Geben gets a lot more playing time than ND bigs have had as true freshmen in a while. He's just a little awkward and is nowhere close to being up to Division 1 game speed yet.

Does the timing for this "suspension" match when he would be getting first semester grades back? ND hasn't played since January 10.

I know from talking to a current ND student that first semester final grades have been out for a few weeks now, at least for the non athletes. Don't know if the BB players' grading is on a different schedule.

Seriously, not only is he very bad at his job but he has no affinity for ND and openly trolls fans sometimes. It's crazy they can't find a better journalist to fill his shoes.

Wonder how much we'll see a "Dayton" line-up, where we go completely small. I'd actually like to see how that goes. I'd sit down Beachem and Colson and tell them, "You gotta rebound". We'd have to play exclusively zone when we go like this, but I can't imagine it's a much worse option than having to Play Torres/Geben/Katenda against ACC bigs.

Down 38-30 at half at Ga Tech. Ga Tech has played everyone tough this season, it would take a miracle of a 2nd half to win this.

Geben and Torres are giving us nothing. Bonzie has been good off the bench, but he's 6'5". This 4-guard offense isn't the best without a big man...

Noie at the SBT said he's heard everything from a 1-game suspension to full season for Auguste. Brey is supposed to address it after the game...
