Zaire looks like a much better QB guys... Much,... MUCH better pocket presence, rocket arm... Faster...
The pocket presence is the most surprising thing in my opinion. Really impressive. Golson's clock would go off way too soon too often and lead to bouncing around and..fumbles.

Had Zaire gained some experience earlier he might have a better touch on his fade routes.

If u lived in Ohio and had to hear all their obnoxious fans you wouldn't even want them to make the playoffs period. I have watched FSU and this goes beyond their usual first halves. This is getting late to be screwing around.

<-----Read location.

My father-in-law is a Buckeye, so I tolerate them. I know that there's vocal groups of Buckeyes that hate ND more than Michigan (I'll never understand it, given the fact we've only met 5 times in history and share rivals) but there's a lot of Buckeyes that accept the Irish or tolerate them. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," well...sometimes.

When did you want him to come in? Golson got ND back into every single game in which he shit the bed. Obviously today he is mentally absent, but give the guy his due credit at least.

The offseason will be interesting. A QB who would be a Heisman candidate of he can eliminate mindless turnovers and a QB who can actually run the read option which opens up so many different options for a spread offense.

Malik needs to work on his touch passes. YOung QB on that.

No doubt. But he's at least seeing the field and making good decisions and has incredible patience (too much on that last one).

The middle of the field is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. I'm with you. With Golson it almost feels like its going to be boom or bust. Almost like he's afraid to take a sack, throw it out of bounds, etc. Could be the hype got to his head. Zaire just seems so much more locked in.

With that said, McGlinchey is in at RT and the right side seems much more in tune then with Lombard in. People were getting on Elmer but I truly believed Lombard was the problem .Just too many injuries for him to overcome.

Yet we don't run the ball...

You make more and more sense with each post...

And instead of just making his point he has to be a penis also. I don't try to insult others on here. I just state my opinion right or wrong. Why some of these dick bags on here feel the need to make it personal.

Agreed. It's a process. Maybe players are taking too many hits in practice or aren't getting enough time in the weight room. Could be any combination of things.

The Packers had this problem the past couple of years until McCarthy began to put more conditioning sessions into Friday/Saturday practices. This year they've had a significant drop in those injuries.

No way you can convince me that they're taking too many hits in practice. They've had to coddle the team in practices the past three years for fear of injury. If ND is going to have the effects of probation, they should at least enjoy some of the fruits that come w/ NCAA violations. Trying to convince the public that your team is decimated by injuries gets zero sympathy b/c every team deals w/ injuries. If it's abnormally more than every other team, then something is systemically wrong or it's the unluckiest program in America.

This tells me they gave up a long time ago:

Personally Zaire should have been in when turnovers started so there was a ramification for bad play by Golson. I hate to say it but we should join acc so we would at least have a conference to play for.

I'd rather NOT shit the bed in the first place rather than shit the bed then claim a wonderful comeback.

The offseason will be interesting. A QB who would be a Heisman candidate of he can eliminate mindless turnovers and a QB who can actually run the read option which opens up so many different options for a spread offense.
I promise you're the only person on the planet who still thinks Golson could ever sniff Heisman territory again.

Bryant looks good. But I expected him to have another gear, he keeps getting caught from behind.
