Way to go Kyle, the pressure the last two games and you folded. And now you blame Malik? Raise your game, you didn't. You choked. You could have done it, you didn't take the blame instead of shifting it. Great leader

Did anyone think we were going to win this? It's Notre Dame football. We lose in November and we lose games we should win. I've been to enough bad Senior Day losses to see what was going to happen.

First Senior Day loss under Kelly.

I blame Kelly for going for the 2 point conversion. If we hadn't scored, we would have never tried a field goal.

That is bullshit. We lost this game when Kyle Brindza missed a kick, again.

I'm sick of anything special teams...

Another slow start. Again. We had to come back against at home on senior day. We ended the 1st quarter down 14-6. You can't spot teams points consistently and expect to win.

Do you?

It was a 36 yard kick if I understand it ( if been drinking). That hold has fine for that length of a kick.

You can blame the holder, but it's just as much on the kicker.
That is 100% on the holder.

You realize that a kick is like golf swing, while you don't know where or when the tee will be placed....

Can you do that? With a hold situation that is constantly inconsistent?

Kicking is all about consistency. Kyle has had none of that. Causing mental frustration and lack of confidence.

Kyle cannot just "shake off" his frustration like golfer can with his swing.
Kyle has to rely on the holder to do their job.

If we play with these safties in LA they are going to throw downfield all night with Nelson and crush us. Totally not cool watching Drue and Austin stink up the field and still play.

It wasn't a great hold. It wasn't a DI player should miss from that distance. He played that trajectory and movement the entire game. He pushed it,maybe off the bad hold. Maybe not.

quit making excuses for Kyle, he choked. Kickers make it all the time with iffy holds. Kyle is mentally shot, and he choked. That is what it is.

2 losses on the coach this year.

Obviously Hunter Smith had issues holding. But going with a Lefty in the middle of the season isn't the smartest idea.

Both sucked. Bottom line. Let's not act like that was an easy kick, given the hold.

I missed the game (work)...how did EG turn it over this game?

One pick on a deep comeback route the safety was sitting on. Also had a fumble loss for like 30 yards, but we didn't lose that one. Did kill a drive though.

EG actually played pretty well today, at least outside the 2nd quarter.

Bullshit. 100%. Not even a question. Everything you said is wrong even for a high school kicker. It's a difficult kick with the movement, but the end position was a kickable ball.
