My guys played him week 1 this year. Our WR had a nice 2nd half, when he seemed to ware down. With that being said, he is big and physical and a really good athlete.

Would it be safe to assume this "stuff" is beyond what Kelly could push through admissions? Seems weird he would visit 2 straight weeks if we weren't going to be an option.

For IPS, which is just an incredibly dysfunctional school district, Tech has its fair share of good scholar-athletes. Their basketball starting lineups all, I believe this is correct, had 3.7s or higher and All-State academic guys. Tech is a pretty interesting school. They just historically have terrible athletics. I've legitimately never heard of a football player from Tech before.

I mean, I can't blame anyone who would pass up on the lame excuses for coaches this state has right now (excluding the homie Chris Holtmann now)

I've been familiar with Tech and the other IPS schools for years. I am quite proud of their team last year. It showed that kids from the inner city can be successful in the classroom and on the court at the same time.

The bold part is what I was referring to in my previous post. I can't recall a Tech football player ever getting a scholarship. I'm sure there are some, but the last IPS player to get a scholly that I remember is the great Stacy Toran (RIP) from Broad Ripple HS.
