In seven games for Allen, leading receiver Guyton has 39 receptions for 850 yds and 10 scores(add a rushing and a return touchdown for a total of 12 scores). Last year Guyton had 43 receptions for 1,045 yds and 13 TD. This year, Allen quarterback Kyler Murray has 20 passing TD and 14 scores rushing. If Allen makes another run at a Texas state championship, look for Guyton's statistics to improve dramatically from last year's, and another bump in the ESPN 300 ratings.

Friday night - Allen 63 Flower Mound 17 Another impressive game for Murray - 17 of 27 for 310 yards and 4 TD, and Guyton - 9 catches for 163 yards and 2 scores. This is a dynamic duo, and Guyton continues to be Murray's primary target. Both players must have, at some point, discussed playing college ball together. Like last year, Murray's name is on everyone's list of best players in high school football. Committed to Texas A&M, it has been pointed out that Murray will be taking visits. Next week's game against Plano may get national attention.

Just scored on a 40 some yard post on 4th and 7. Perfect throw by Murray. Plano is covering bim 1 on 1 press all game long. He is getti gbhis...physcial and good ball skills but definitely Not looking like a burner live.

Yeah I saw that as soon as I left this thread. I read a few days ago he was questionable with an ankle but looks like he erased those questions.

To run up big numbers against the #1 team makes those numbers look all that much better.

Wish he would verbal already, ND provides him the best depth chart he's gonna see and the most talented line to run behind over the next 5 years.

He definitely was limping at times and at one point came off the field hobbled...but he returned and still tore it up.

Thanks for sharing Ironman. Guyton is a smooth athlete. Not a burner but seems deceptively fast. One of his best traits seems to be his adjustment to the ball as it's in flight. Seems like if he has a one-on-one matchup Murray will just throw it out to him knowing that Guyton will make a better play on the ball than the DB. I'll take a smooth runner and kid with great ball skills at WR any day. I'm glad he's on board. Hope he brings a TJ Jones type of factor to the team.

I love how he stacks the DB so well on those deep routes. A WR can make up for non elite speed by doing that well, and he seemingly has it mastered at the HS level. Hope it translates.

So do I. Guyton looks like a hands catcher, which is Fuller's only real downside. Exactly the kind of player Kelly needs to run the spread.

Probably, but hard to tell from that tape IMO. Guyton is running away from much faster defenders than Fuller faced in HS.

I was not a big fan of this commitment when it first went down. Was not impressed with his junior film but he is just blowing up his senior year and his film looks much better IMO. Will never fly by anybody and will always be an average athlete but just seems really smooth. Looking forward to watching you at ND Jalen.
