They pulled the plug on Kiel way too early.
Looks GREAT....over 300 qb rating.
Kiel is the real deal.
Not how I saw it, at all.
The receivers are all WIDE open, and ZERO pass rush by Toledo.
Yes, he did a good job of at least hitting these wide open receivers.
But did you notice how pin point accurate Golson needed to be, during the Michigan game?
And every receiver was in full motion.
The Cincy receivers pretty much just sat there, waiting for the pass, with the only exception being he last touchdown pass of the first half.
Seriously, I am not trying to rip the kid, but you cannot possibly even compare Kiel's performance, versus the Toledo defense, to Golson's, vs Michigan's.
Cincy did make some defensive adjustments, the second half.
What's the biggest comeback in college history?
Glad to see Gunner found a home and is killing it on his first collegiate start.
Poor defensive adjustments.
What's the biggest comeback in college history?
Just don't see it that way, at all.
The entire first half, his receivers were all WIDE open, and absolutely no pass rush.
He did do a good job of at least hitting these wide open receivers.
MSU came back from a 35 point defecit to beat Northwestern back in 2006. That's the biggest I can remember.
Anyone else diggin these Toledo helmets?
I really, really do not understand the sentiment behind rooting for him.

Toledo has a terrible defense, allowing the receivers to be wide open, but Gunner's state line is still impressive. I'm not putting him up for the Heisman, but you gotta give him a little credit.
I've seen flag football teams that play stronger pass defense.
IMO he personally never wanted to be at ND to begin with, but was appeasing outside influences (read: Wooly).
What could he have done to change your outlook?
