Just saw that one, I still really dislike him but can't help but think about all of the what-ifs. I know it's unhealthy to think about what could've been but:

Shepherd
Greenberry
Vanderdoes
Darby

They'd add an awful lot to this roster but they were definitely not RKGs so maybe they would've killed the chemistry or caused issues and permeated a me attitude through the ranks. Damn shame because the talent on the field would've made us even more potent.

McDonald's strip was a great play. bYU's receiver anticipated the hit and wrapped up the football only to have it ripped out for the turnover.

Not for nothing, but isn't it kind of stupid for BYU to keep snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds left every time when they are up by 8? I mean, I know they run the hurry up or whatever and don't want to huddle, but shouldn't the QB still just wait to snap it to use the clock? As it is, the drive stalled and they had to kick it back, with 3 minutes left with three TOs left, when they really pretty much could have run the clock out, or at least forced Houston to burn the TOs. Really stupid, no?

And these announcers are oblivious. They never mentioned it.
