I think y'all are reading way too much into it. The Adidas practice jerseys had stripes and other details that were completely unrelated to anything we ever saw on the field.

I'm aware of the practice jerseys being different I just noticed the new ones and it reminded me of the 90's jerseys which I thought would look nice. Having said that I doubt they'll b any different other than an UA logo.

Those were the jerseys for the 1992 and 1993 seasons.

For the 1994 through 1997 seasons it was the same trim but with the golden dome at the base of the collar.

From 1998 until the last year of Champion in 2000 the dome stayed but the collar/sleeve design added a little striping pattern.

Personally, not a fan of the gold on the collar for the home jersey. I like the contrast from blue on the jersey to the shiny gold helmets. I don't mind the blue on the away jersey because it blends in well and is different without being too noticeable.

Thanks for looking that up and providing pics I knew they were during the mid 90's but wasn't sure when they began or ended. I liked the 92'-97' better than the 98'-00'. Like you said in your other post I doubt they will be any different than last year but if they get the colors correct I think it could look nice. I'm personally not a fan of the mustard pants wish they could match the new helmet gold or go back to the Holtz gold pants.

The number, monograms and UA logo aren't real, they are photo shopped on.

It's a funny prank nonetheless

Real or fake, that's essentially what the uniform will look like. I don't know why anyone would expect a big change from Adidas.

Heads up to anyone who buys an Under Armour Premier jersey (one with twill / stitched numbers and monograms). DO NOT PANIC when you wash your jersey for the first time. I took mine out of the dryer yesterday and about had a heart attack when I saw shreds of material coming out of it. It turns out there's a paper-like backing on the inside of the shirt where the numbers and monograms are applied, and it disintegrates the first time you wash it. Apparently it's all good and this is supposed to happen.

It rained on Saturday and I smelled like wet shirt factory.

So many memories in that 2014 Under Armor Notre Dame jersey.

I need guidance my brethren.
I'm looking to buy a new ND jersey...and I'm trying to decide between the replica and the nice one. From those that have either or, how big a difference is there? I dont have the ability to see it in person beforehand. Is it worth the extra?

There are three.

Replica: $75, screen-printed (flat) numbers and monograms
Premier: $100, twill (stitched) numbers and monograms
Authentic: $200, twill (stitched) numbers and monograms, thicker, stretchier material

I think the premier is absolutely worth it. If the replica was like $40, I'd say go with that one, but even that one isn't cheap. The Premier really looks much nicer for the additional $25. Even if the Authentic were less than $200, I wouldn't go all the way that route. It's very heavy feeling, to the point where it might be too warm/uncomfortable to wear. None of the jerseys have the awkward shoulder pad bulge in the shoulders.

Any specific questions?

From just looking at all 3 on the website I really wasn't even considering the Replica. I just wasn't sure if it was worth it to pay that much more for an Authentic over the Premier. I appreciate the help.

I'd say definitely not. It looks exactly the same and feels only slightly different (worse, IMO). The only benefit would be that "you know" that it's the "real" one.

Are the sizes consistent with normal sizes? The website shows off a weird chart. I normally wear a XXL in shirts/jerseys...

They run a bit big, even for jerseys. I have an XL adidas Premier, XL Reebok NFL, and XL Under Armour and the Under Armour is the biggest. I went back and forth in the bookstore several times trying to decide between L and XL. I really felt a large-and-a-half. I went with the XL so if you're normally XXL I'd go that route as well.
