Damn, that sucks. Hope he is able to make a full recovery and do work next season. Is it related to the nagging shoulder injury he sort of got in the Pinstripe bowl?
TJ had 2 catches for 80 yards including a 64 yarder for a TD. He also returned 2 punts for 20 yards.
It would be nice to see him on the roster. Outside of Tate, Moore, and Johnson, we don't have anyone that you could really say is head and shoulders above him.Any Detroit fans here know if he'll make the final roster or if he's headed to practice squad?

I believe last year we carried 3 TEsIf you guys keep Ebron and Wright, does that take a place away from a WR? I know you have a lot of quality TEs. Wright was more WR than TE for the Pats last year so wasn't sure if that would impact TJ.
Survived final cuts, made Detroit Lions 53 man roster as the team's 5th WR.
Awesome! Anyone know if he's still getting a shot at punt returns?
Hate to see Abdullah do the punt returns for Injury reasons. I believe Jeremy Ross is still on roster probably filling return role, although I believe TJ can be special. He was getting reps there in pre-season. But there is talk about Ameer Abdullah filling that role.

The Lions have loved Ross for a few years now. And Salas had a good pre season. Word was they were very high on him. They must have faith in TJ if he made the roster and both of the others were cut.Ross was cut earlier today. That's why Jones is on the roster. They picked Jones over Ross and Greg Salas, who sprained his knee in final pre-season game.
I don't follow the Lions, but what about Theo Riddick? Seems like a good option to get him more involved other than being a 3rd down passing catching back, a role he filled admirably last season.
