Maybe this explains the renewed interest in Roc Thomas. The grade rumors with Bo may very well be true. Why else would he come back to finish up high school.

Well, couldn't it just be that his season is over and there is no sense paying tuition at IMG any more? I know nothing about this situation, btw; just speculating.

Roc Thomas is a beast though. If Bama is able to pull him instead that's no loss.

I haven't watched Roc's senior film but I always thought he had the best junior tape.

I am sure his tuition was paid via financial aid so I don't think that would be an issue. The fact that he has chosen to come back to T Town instead of staying at a school that is designed to help them with their academics ( questionable I know ) either means he is good to go grade wise or he has no shot with them at either IMG or Tuscaloosa Co.

As far as Roc, I think Bama has no chance now. He would have committed at any point to Bama if they would have allowed him. Their slow playing led him to Auburn and the realization that he wasn't Bama's top priority. And I don't blame him for committing to Auburn. He is tailor made for that offense and with Mason leaving, he will almost immediately see the field. I hope he does well for them... even though I don't care for Auburn.

He was hurt off and on some but when he was healthy he was a beast. That will be my only concern with him. If he stays healthy he should have a great career.

The pair still isn't on campus. Speaking Thursday at the SEC Media Days, Alabama head coach Nick Saban said he's waiting to the end of the summer on the pair's academic status. "They won’t be completed until the end of summer school," Saban said. "I can’t really make a prediction on what their status will be until their summer school is over." Scarbrough is a five-star recruit, while McBride is ranked as a four-star prospect.
