Who knows in recruiting, but he's really high on ND and if the visit goes well and he commits (which I expect to happen), ND could beat out the childhood favorite Bulldogs if they sand bag it.

Think Kolin Hill, not Blake Barnett, lol.

Sorry man but he has said a few times and it is generally understood he wants to go to UGA . All they have to say is when. No LOL.

Loy thinks it's travel expenses that are preventing him from visiting.

Really sucks for the kid. I hope he gets a chance to be on campus before fall.

It kind of makes you wonder if this would have happened if it were a southern school?
Recruit: I dont think I have enough money to visit *school*
Coach: Send that kid some money now!

ND is on top.

Just got back from the Carribbean, and can't afford to make it.

If they were flying he'd be here Friday, but they'd have to drive so it's getting pushed back.

Still plans to OV before summer's end. Wants to take an offical to ND early.

Visiting UNC this weekend for the first time.

Tentative August 1st decision, assuming he can make a visit to all 5 of his top 5 before August 1.

Wants to see how he fits in on a mediocre team getting to ready to face NCAA charges? Why would anyone be going to UNC right now?

Can you OV before classes start?

Here is what I found. I guess official visits can begin as soon as you start classes at your high school for your senior year. So it can be different for each recruit.

You can make up to five Official – expense paid visits to college campuses. the visit to the campus cannot be longer than forty eight hours in duration. you are are not allowed to have an official visit until after your first day of classes of your senior year.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

He wants to unofficially visit all schools, including ND before the end of the summer, and wants to OV early in the season.

So he wants to take official visits after he decides on Aug 1st?

He was specifically speaking about ND when he said anything about an OV. After saying he'll definately visit before summer's end, he said this in addition:

"I'd like to take an early official visit there, but I have to look into that."

Going by the comments, sounds like he'll visit all 5 schools, commit to ND, take an official visit to ND early on. Although I'm sure that will change, because why wouldn't it.

Maybe he wants to sit behind Elijah Hood and talk about how they'd rather be at Notre Dame...

He visited South Carolina and had a good visit. His mom went with him and they both liked it. His previous top 3, in order, was ND, Wisconsin, then South Carolina and it is "pretty much the same" now.

Loy thinks, and I agree, that a visit to ND could wrap this up.

Does everyone still feel Georgia could have him whenever they want him?

Looking deeper at this, they live in Sumter which is less than 1 hour drive away. I cannot say how many times he has been to USC and Columbia but I am amazed a local kid (recently at least) came away from his latest USC visit with no movement and still has ND as a leader without visiting. That says so much about USC IMO. Their main pitch is playing time. Alford must have laid a wonderful pitch to him. I think this bodes well for us in getting a commitment. I am hoping he gets to campus soon and also UGA locks up recruiting RBs soon.

RB Ty’Son Williams of Crestwood also visited USC on Friday with his mom. They were on campus from 9:00-3:00 and got a tour of the facilities and the campus. “I walked around mostly for my mom because I’ve already seen most of that stuff,” Williams said. “We got a real good detail look into the school. She liked it.” Williams spent most of his time with recruiters Deke Adams and Everette Sands. “We just talked about football and life in general,” he said. He also met with Steve Spurrier in his office before leaving. Williams plans to visit North Carolina Saturday.

Is UGA all filled up at RB? I would hope that a great visit and a thorough explanation from the staff would ensure that if he committed he would remain solid, but recruiting can be crazy. The only actual thing that I could see helping us out is that Richt is actually a pretty stand up guy who sticks to the gentlemen's agreement that the SEC has about not pursing committed players. Even though actually think that pertains only in conference. Anyways hope this one works out, he's a good one.

They are still recruiting (Williams has an offer but they have other RBs higher up on their board) as I understand it, but their current depth chart is ridiculous. Best in the nation IMO. That being said they had significant injuries to Gurley and Marshall so playing time is possible even with Chubb coming in.

I feel confident in saying that the Gamecock recruitniks dont like Williams' recruiter Everrett Sands for several reasons. From what I have been gathering he is not connecting with Ty'son and it looks like there are other RBs they have a better chance with. I do not think USC will end up being a player here. Also there is a pattern with him and RBs. Chubb visited twice then scratched USC off. Elijah Hood removed them after working out for Sands....basically they have whiffed on every big time RB since Lattimore.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that he never makes that connection.
