So if we were to snag Hilliard and Hayes we'd have landed, arguably, the best LB out of the Midwest 4 straight years. That would be amazing, IMO. Long way to go on that but it's not unrealistic.

I had to add arguably because last year Clifton Garrett was pretty darn good too. Still it'd be impressive.

I don't necessarily agree with it but I don't think it's too far off. Wiltfong said when he committed that there are people he knows that think Crawford is the best player in Ohio this year.

Sean Mele has his thoughts up from II on the blog on ISD - a great read for those who have access. Really complimentary of several players and prospects, including Nick Martin, Greg Bryant, Tillery, Hoge, Crawford, Fertitta, etc.

The more I hear about Fertitta, the more I think we have ourselves a very good football player. I think it was TP who said that he knows what he does well and he knows what he doesn't do well but that he is very good at what he does. You have to believe that the staff has this awareness and that they will put him in a position to succeed. I think he ends up as a very solid contributor in the secondary for a couple of years and a leader on the team. He didn't have to compete today, but he did, and apparently he showed out. Go get em, kid.
