Unofficially visited today (June 14th). Said it was amazing and solidified why Notre Dame is his favorite school. BVG was ironically at his high school while he was on campus so he didn't get the offer he was hoping for yet, but it should be on its way. Coaches compared him to Jaylon. Said offer would definitely put ND in his top 3. Plans to announce after his junior year. Wants to come back for Irish Invasion, but conflicts with his mom's work schedule may make it impossible for him to get here.

Missed most of his sophomore season due to injury so film is lacking.

Yeah, that was/is mine as well.

Just crazy to think that he's that high up there with essentially no varsity football. My next assumption is that he has done really well at the camps he's attended.

STL posted a video in the master list thread where he stated he has grown a lot. 6'1" 185 during the time of his last film to 6'3" 225 now.

He seemed very well spoken and seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. Mentioned academics being important and how he knows only a small percentage of players make the league and he wants something to fall back on.

Also specifically mentioned how he sees himself as a Jaylon Smith type player and thinks he would fit in well with ND's defense. I assume he was talking about last years though under Diaco.

All in all, if he has put on a couple inches and 40 lbs and kept his athleticism...I'd really like to see him get an offer and end up here.

Hopefully Jaylon has a monster year under BVG and this kid can see himself in his shoes. Jaylon 2.0 would make me real happy.

His school is a private, all boys Catholic school in a pretty middle class part of Michigan. They play against Brother Rice, DCC, DCD etc so the quality of opposition is decent.

Dion Sims (MSU. Dolphins), Rob Bolden (PSU, LSU) and Allen Robinson (PSU, Jags) are the most recent successful football playing alumni.

Will definitely keep and eye on this kid he would be a huge get for ND.
