There seems to be a disconnect between his rankings and his offers.

Having said that he does fit the profile for an ILB very well.

I thought the same thing. Maybe he doesn't really go to camps or really put his name out there. Could start blowing up if/when ND/OSU/MSU offer or he hits the camp circuit this summer.

Kid looks really good to me. I don't understand what is going on with his recruitment; maybe he is waiting for specific offers, and is not working with the bulk of the recruiting buzz-buzz schools. It seems that many kids blow up because of a specific offer from a high visibility school.

From ISD, no offer but enjoyed the visit and will come to a camp this summer. The Irish Invasion Camp is an invitee only camp and the staff said he could potentially earn an offer there once they can see him work out.

Sounds like he enjoyed the visit and campus more than he expected. Will he back for camp (also will camp at OSU). Getting frustrated with OSU not offering yet even though he's been there so many times.

Top 10 linebacker on 247, Rivals, and Scout. Hopefully, we don't slow-play his offer while we wait on a pipedream verbal from someone else. We've all seen how that has worked out in the past.

He's a MLB only player and I'm not sure that we're looking at that role very hard this cycle. We have a few MLB only players on the roster for only 1 spot right now. I think in general we're trying to find those rangy OLB this class. Not saying that Nick shouldn't or won't get an offer but I totally understand why he hasn't yet.

OSU and MSU have held off offering too. Everyone wants to see him in camp this summer

I haven't watched his tape. Why is he considered a MLB prospect only?

edit - nvm, just watched. I could understand them wanting to see him in person. But dang... his film is nice. He plays both the run and pass (coverage) at a high level. Gets to the backfield quick too.
