I think it may be a plus (depending on the parents), but these guys are players. If they couldn't play, they wouldn't get an offer.

Is it crazy to think that part of ND's offers are a marketing campaign? Does the program become more attractable to recruits when David Robinson, Bon Jovi, Tori Hunter, Lorenzo Fertitta, possibly snoop dog are roaming the campus and at games etc?

I have to think that successful people from any background realize the opportunities for their children to succeed are greatly enhanced by many things ND offers. ND benefits as well because many of these kids grew up in households with parents who know what it takes to succeed and ND gets driven, high character, and hardworking kids.

Is targeting Alize Jones, Cordell Broadus, Kahlil McKenzie, and Isaiah Langley. Jones and Broadus are good friends of Nico's and he's going to try and visit ND with them, he's pretty sure they'll be coming for visits.

just getting him not only because of his talents and extreme athleticism at the te position but getting him from ucla would only make it better

If he can get us back in the mix for Jones and simultaneously stick it to Mora, that'd be huge and help keep the BG pipeline going. Any of the other 3 would be outstanding, but I'm not too optimistic.

All 4 of those players are highly coveted by UCLA. Jones is just the only committed one. Rosen is working Broadus as well so this should be interesting.

Stupid question and I am too lazy to check, but other than Broadus, do the others play at BG?

Alize Jones does and thats it. Broadus, MCkenzie, and Langley are Cali kids from 3 different schools.

imo i feel he is a bit overrated and this is likely due to his dad...he is a good prospect but i don't see him as a top wr in nation

I definitely have other guys higher on the board right now. So, I agree but he does have some serious upside potential. I really hope we are somewhat picky with WR recruiting since we seem to be pretty loaded with current players on the roster.

I think Broadus ends up at USC ultimately but I would be more shocked if he chose UCLA over USC and ND.

And his parents have money. Clearly Kelly knows what he is doing. When the field is renamed Fertitta staidum, then he'll finally be able to install turf!

His dad bought UFC for the grand total of $2,000,000 in 2001. Is that unreal or what? Some estimates put the UFC's worth at ~$3.5 billion now.

He reminds me of Lamarcus Joyner, undersized but quick and hits like a Mac truck!

As a long time UFC fan, they've done a fantastic job with the sport. Is it as brutal as it used to be, no. However, that's what makes it more appealing to the masses and from a business standpoint they hit a grand slam. Big fan!

Wow, just watching this kid play in those highlights got me pumped. I think Nicco will be a serious player for ND when he gets on campus.
