Exactly and he has also has power in his running style. I appreciate the way this kid runs. He does not sound really hyped, but he may be my favorite rb in the class.

He's the #2 RB at rivals but 247's RB rankings are jacked up IMO. So his composite is off. If you have some time look at 247's RB rankings and you'll be scratching your head a bit.

Nice! I didn't know he was ranked that high. That makes me even higher on him because they actually know what they are seeing

Okie State, Baylor, ND, USC, and Oregon. Told Horns 247 that he just isn't that interested in Texas. I thought that was funny. They think every Texas kid is a lock.

I like our chances with that top 5. Could be much worse.

agree with ryno

like the fact that he's interested in us early, though

wonder what his decision timeline is.

Oregon has very good roots in Texas and Baylor is an it program for skill players in Texas as well. From what I've seen so far I think we're squarely in this. Mentioning ND to other outlets is important and he's done that.

He mentioned taking five OV's and those are the 5 I expect to get them for now. This will probably go for awhile. It will be big for us if we get a unofficial visit this summer or spring. He does that, I'd say we'll be squarely at the top.

Baylor picked up a running back today. I wonder how many they are taking this year. I think there are two other RBs we are recruiting who have Baylor in the lead group

Regardless, I'll take my chances against Baylor and Oregon rather than Texas, Texas A&M, and the SEC schools.

With the way Oregon and Baylor play offense and at running back. I don't like our chances.

I agree GB, who would not want to play rb for Oregon, and they recruit texas well. What do you think of him as a player as well?

It all depends on records. If ND gets to 10 regular season wins, we will win for most of the kids who have a strong interest, IMHO...

Can't remember where I read it but some analyst said he believes Jones top 2 are Baylor and OU

Tom Loy just CB'd him to the Irish

The important part is that he said they're there even if they didn't offer. That means more than a typical 'top 8', IMO.

Just saw Loy tweet a $ article saying 'one school is standing out' for Ronaly. If so facto, the article says it's the Irish.

Would love, LOVE, LOVE this pick up. And yes, primarily because of the hair.

Kid is a great player and would be a huge get for us however he wants to take quite a few visits so not sure why Loy would jump to a prediction so fast just because he said ND was standing out so far. He also stated he has no clear cut leader right now so I wouldn't get too pumped yet

Top 2 are OU and Arkansas. ND is in the next group. Hoping to talk to Alford soon and hopes to visit ND this summer.

Not to pick nits but I belive you were thinking of the phrase "ipso facto" which is Latin for "by the fact itself."

DillonHall mentioned Sammy Watkins earlier and I have to agree he has the Sammy Watkins running style. If he could add some weight, he could be a Z/RB easily.

I really like what I hear about this kid. I refuse to get my hopes up, though.
