Loy put in a ND Crystal Ball prediction for Simmons yesterday. Someone asked him about it and he said he heard good things about Simmons and his interest in ND.

I realize this is an older article but it also says UF and OSU are in the top 4 with ND and Clemson. Grew up Miami fan and likes UF. Mom went to Clemson. Says he will visit ND this spring.

Sorry haha, I'll clean it up.

At the time of that article the top 4 were Clemson, OSU, UF and ND. He grew up a Miami fan and then switched to UF with Tebow there. He has ties to Clemson because his mom was an athlete there. ND offer was "huge". ND has his major and he plans to visit this spring.

You guys actually put stock in Loy crystal balls? Maybe we land Simmons but I put as much stock into Loy crystal balls as I do believing Simmons runs a 4.34

Florida leads because its close to home and his family can come see him. Loy crystal balled him to ND so it's over.

ND made his top 5 along with Clemson, UF, OSU, and UCLA. Per II we're probably running 5th out of that group. He does talk with Alford often and a visit is likely.

It's ND, he doesn't have the 2 years of foreign language class completed and it would take extra classes now. He is "still evaluating" it all.

I highly doubt we don't bring in a RB at all this year. It may not be an elite player but we'll bring in at 1. Even though GB got a RS I wouldn't bet on him staying for a 5th year. Take Malik Lovette for example, some consider him to be a better RB than WR. In fact, USC is recruiting him as an RB. So, there are still some options out there. I wouldn't bet on getting an elite back at this stage but I would bet that we bring in a RB this cycle.
