I didn't think this story could get better, but it does. The dead man's name was Denver Lee St. Clair and the guy accused of killing him is former Marine. The niece of the departed says he may have died from asphyxiation, but it was the blunt force trauma that really did him in.

No truth to the rumor that with a name like that, he had so many encounters with atomic wedgies that it is almost assuredly the trauma caused the death.

A few of my friends were talking about this on Facebook tonight and apparently I went to high school with this niece. I'm not friends with her but we had something like 40 mutual friends in common.
