ND MBB 2013-14 season

Awesome win. Shell shocked Duke fan asking me this AM how we did it. I said this is what a real basketball conference looks like.

Burgett had 5 blocks? When is the last time an ND player had that many blocks in a game? Against a top 10 team nonetheless?

Team struggles a bit offensively sometimes but the overall stats this year indicate they've been pretty efficient. Still trying to find their way without Grant

We are 15 points better than these guys, yet were lucky to be down 4.

Yeah NC State isnt very good. ND just played terrible. Sherman doesnt do well with someone his size and Jackson and Burgett looked lost.

Awful game by us. But, I guess I'll chalk this up to a let-down after the Duke game.

Young guys were terrible. Sherman may get 14+, but he is an enormous liability on defense (when he's in the center of our zone, it's basically like playing with 4 guys until the shot goes up. Players 5 inches shorter than him don't respect him what-so-ever).

Going to be games like this this year. Not sure I have enough hair to make it through the season.

The basket ball team and the football team have a lot in common you never know what you are going to get. It's a shame to play that well against duke and pretty much not show up against State.

Can't defend, can't rebound. Every defensive possession results in a foul or the opponent getting an offensive rebound. Jackson was awful tonight.

Does anyone else think Connaughton could make an NBA team if baseball didn't work out for him?

He's a long 6-5 with crazy hops. Plays above average defense and great 3pt shooter. Doesn't really have a glaring weakness to his game.

For as big as Tre Golden is, he sure does act like he gets shot by a gun anytime someone touches him.

Not sure where else to put this, but with UNC's loss to Syracuse they drop to 10-6 I believe and 0-3 in the ACC. Is Williams' seat getting hot?

Without thinking too hard I'm pretty sure he will be the coach there as long as he wants to be. He's won 2 (or is it 3?) championships this decade.

I really doubt it, but this kid is by far my favorite ND player. He gives 40 minutes of effort night in and night out.

What in the world kind of shot is that Sherman? Second time in the game that he throws up a one handed floater from 15 feet out with a bunch of time left on the shot clock.
