What is this fullback you refer to? Is he like 2 halfbacks or just the size of 2 halfbacks?

He seems to be an extra extra large RB who sometimes blocks on passes...makes a path for RB...runs the ball strong...and even catches an occasional pass...really a novel concept

MSU has never had an ineligible receiver downfield on a fake FG

If Tiger Woods and Cuba Gooding Jr. had a baby, it would be David Shaw.

Yikes. Lets see run it right at their 10 guys instead doing what has worked. Shaw play calling makes Martin look like Walsh

Complete arrogance by Shaw. Haven't pissed a drop running inside all day but are still going to try it on the two most important plays of the game. How about rolling out your fairly mobile QB with a run/pass option?

My son, turning 13 this weekend is a huge MSU fan. Sitting on the couch, decked from head to tow including slippers and a scarf.

So when does Stanford start complaining about being stopped on 4th down.

Astounding. I have never seen a supposedly good coach so thoroughly outcoached and stuck so stubbornly on his own idea of a gameplan that objectively isn't working. David Shaw completely failed to adjust. Stanford was unable to run up the middle since middle of the first quarter but Shaw just kept at it, unto his own doom.

Well, anyway, ND beat a pretty good team in Mich St.

I agree with everything you said, but Dantonio is one of the most underrated coaches around.

No, that was Spartan-esque

As in THIS IS SPARTA!!

Wish ND played D like that consistently over the last few years. Hard to think that ND could have replaced Teo last year the way MSU replaced their ILB tonight against Stanford.

I don't think Nebraska has won a BCS game either

*Edit: yes they have. We are the only ones......

How is that final play not the very definition of "targeting"? Don't get be wrong, I would have been furious, but that's a launched helmet to helmet hit.

Although calling Bullough one of the greatest Spartans of all time is a flat out joke.

It was not even close. The LB was in the air OVER the FB whose helmet went into his sternum.

Listening to Musberger pumping one Michigan State win and a lucky Nebraska win into a symbol of Big Ten strength is both laughable and sickening.

UCF -17 is the biggest point spread in BCS history somebody said; did I hear that right? Bigger than Louisville last year, and ND vs LSU and Demarcus, I guess.
