The Worst Films of 2013?

I didn't like either. Read the book and left with a huge "meh". Decided to watch the movie and came away disapointed as well.

Didn't read the book but did enjoy the movie. Perhaps that is why. Really looking forward to the Wolf of Wall Street however. This Is The End was hilarious, however my wife actually fell asleep as she doesn't quite appreciate that kind of humor as I do.

I am utterly ashamed to admit that I saw the Ethan Hawke movie that was out this summer (I can't even remember the name of it)-- no lie when I say it is the worst movie I have ever seen in the theater...and right up there on the list of worst movies I have ever seen...anywhere.

The Purge? A lot of people didn't like it but I actually enjoyed it

The scene where Leo is in the "cerebral palsy" phase was incredible.

Saw this Christmas Day. Best movie I've seen in a long time. As sexual as it was, apparently a lot was cut out to keep it from being NC17....

Not the Ethan Hawk.Selena Gomez one about his family kidnapped or something? The commercials for that one looked horrible and I don't know anyone who saw it to get a live opinion.

I'll be one of the people that says they hated Man of Steel. Tonally depressing, with boring overly-long action sequences (actually the whole movie should have been shortened by forty minutes), shoe-horned Christ imagery, Amy Adams putting in the most wooden performance of her career, Zack Snyder doing nothing visually interesting (if you had told me the same guy directed this movie and watchmen I wouldn't believe you). Too dark for little kids, too insultingly mindless for adults. I hated it. It was an abomination.

Ha- I forgot about that flick! I think it was probably only in theaters that opening night...then removed.

But at least it had Selena Gomez. And we all know the ancient formula:
