I'm only posting from memory, but pretty sure It was 1.5 mill a yr? ND assistant's have to be pulling in 450k a year? I'd like to think!

Y! SPORTS

Martin's five-year deal includes base salaries of $450,000 per year plus bonuses, athletics director David Sayler said.

EDIT: Diaco got about 1.6 at Uconn, 8 million over 5 years

Miami's coaches don't make that much. When I was there, I'm pretty sure my accounting teacher was making more than Terry Hoeppner.

Significant difference in coaches salaries at major conferences versus the others.

yeah but Diaco and UCONN are in no mans land right now vis a vis a conference affiliation long term, and he left for 1.5M per year...and Chuck "only" getting 450k?

Chuck needs a new agent...

was the kid's first FBS offer. kid killed in the Division 1 state title game. may have gotten a sleeper here. might end up a pretty good MAC QB

same high school as Hendrix. similar type of the player too

Great to see this. He had a great year and deserved a D1 offer. Hope he does well.

The MAC will never pay those type of salaries and UConn is something of an exception. They want to think they're big time, but........

funny to see fans/reporters of another team get excited over guys who never really did much at ND. One man's trash I guess.

He doesn't have that option does he? He's got one year left and never RS.

As Panda said above, he could sit a year, then play. If he indeed wants to leave ND, this may be a better option than juco or going to the NFL (I mean, tryout for a team). It will be an offense he is familiar with and he will get all of the touches. I just don't see an NFL caliber player in GA3 yet, and he can improve more under Martin than in some juco program.

There's always the hardship waiver. I would say it's unlikely, but after EV, I'm not sure I'm capable of putting any trust into NCAA rules and regulations anymore..

I see.

In my opinion, GA's best option by a long shot is to stick around and graduate from ND, debt free.
