He's 5'8. I don't see him playing CB for the Irish.
Why can't he be the Irish version of honey badger minus an affinity for blowing trees??

Honestly sounds like he had a pretty crappy visit.
bummer
Maybe we told him his offer isn't commitable yet
Yeah, I don't think in any way this kid wants to be at ND. Something else is calling.
Even if he is not eloquent, I just don't see him like or with the likes of successful ND recruits.
He also made a comment about not hanging out with guys much on his visit... like wtf? Most everyone else always talks about the best thing being the people. Bet you he ends up at USC, just gut feeling.
Really, really hope McKenzie aced that test.
Is it possible we said we wanted IM's test scores back first?
If Quick picks ND, I think his shitty visit is a moot point. I also think IM's test score is a moot point if Quick picks ND because we'd get the compact, playmaking WR that Kelly is apparently looking for.
Perspective fellas, perspective.
And some good luck.
I think that we will still take McKenzie regardless of Quick, but won't take Nelson if either were to commit.
I'm still looking at numbers and they're tight.
Quick, Morgan, Hill, Hendrix, McKenzie, Luatua, Schultz. And the slim chances on Juju or Solomon Thomas not qualifying at Stanford.
I feel like it's a risk taking McKenzie with other bigger impact recruits (IMO) on the board.

If you remember the conversation about how the staff plans to sign a class with assumptions of attrition. I think they are comfortable going over 24 if need be.
If only 2 EE, our absolute max is 27 and then no one in 2015 could EE unless some current commits transfer right? Hopefully we can boost the number of guys in this class who EE somehow...

I do not remember that. Where is that?
Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but...
Was just listening to this week's ISD podcast and Mike Frank made a very interest comment about how he is hearing that there is a good chance that ND may essentially be oversigning this cycle. Supposedly BK and staff have been doing some research and came to the conclusion that transfers and injuries are to be expected (sorry it took 4 years to realize that, personally). Will be very interesting to see how aggressive they get and what sort of backlash can be expected. My guess is they will allow wiggle room in the 5th years and not truly oversign a la the SEC. But still, encouraging thought process I think.
