It's a lot easier to recruit at USC than A&M.

To be fair, it's pretty darn easy to recruit to A&M being in Texas and giving zero craps NCAA rules.

I won't argue that, but I think it's still easier to get the top kids to USC. If you look at history, they have usually lost the war within the state to Texas until Brown's recent down slide. If Texas strikes gold in their next coach, I think A&M will lose most of those battles again.

It's easier because Texas is not very good right now. When Texas is good, they get leftovers. I guess leftovers from Texas are still super good. Moving to the SEC was a good move for them. They can now tell kids that they can play in the SEC right here in Texas.

yea i think that has A LOT to do with morgan's current interest, which seems to have really taken shape the last month or two. so i don't think there's any doubt we take both if they want on board.

But with Kelly's recent comment involving his stance on 4 scholarship QBs, Hendrix seems less likely at this point.

IMO, only Moore and Lombard should be offered a 5th year.

As for Collinsworth, I like him, but with all the depth we have at safety, I'm thinking that extra scholarship may come to better use someplace else.

and if that extra scholarship means taking both Sykes and Morgan, than I'm all for it!

Agree with Hendrix (we gain little by keeping him for a fifth year). I could be ok with letting Collinsworth go too, though BK values experience obviously.

I agree, get the kids with athleticism and speed on the field.

Would love to lock up Morgan.
