Good to see the guys getting back on track tonight! Demetrius Jackson has hit a couple 3s, a nice assist, and big and one inside. Need Sherman to do a better job of finishing down low, hes active and gets some offensive boards but is having a hard time finishing when he gets the ball.

That's a bit misleading as Brey, and rightfully so, placed Knight and Auguste on the pine for much of the 2nd half.
We played 4 "guards" and a forward much of the second half.
Auguste has to start playing better if this team is going to have any chance in the ACC.

Beat Cornell (0-9) 101-67 tonight.
Brey started four guards, gotta wonder if that's how it'll be all season now. It's probably a good thing, Jackson is really coming on.
They play at #23 Iowa (7-1) tomorrow. ESPN2 at 9:15.

I really like the lineup with Demetrius, Atkins, and Grant all out at the same time. That's more athleticism than a Brey team has had since I've been watching. It's especially beneficial since we don't have a banger in the post like Cooley.

I think that lineup is nice, but still just a match up lineup.
Against a smaller Cornell, sure that's great.
No way I see that lineup working against a bigger, better team.
But then again, I don't see a lineup we have that can match up...

Our bigs don't seem to be good enough to take on teams with a traditional lineup. Villanova has had success in the past with 4 guard lineups and I think we could be pretty good too. I haven't really been able to watch any games yet so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night.
Side note: Has Zach Auguste regressed? I thought he had a nice freshman year and doesn't seem like he's getting all that many minutes or stats this year.

Really didn't help that when we did play defense (the few times), they still made contested jumpers.
Let's not anoint him yet. I remember the same thing being said in the multi-OT game against Louisville last year.
