I don't see us bringing in two 5'8" wideouts this cycle
Better chance of neither than both.

pretty much appears to me to be writing on the wall w/ mckenzie...we have looked at 2 different guys that are in his same mold...short, quick hybrid offensive athletes, pr ...
Article in local paper this morning about Nelson. His coach believe ND is the only one as of now to be a for sure visit but that UF and Auburn want him to get up and visit also. He goes on to say USC is recruiting him as a corner and the rest are recruiting him as a receiver.
FWIW Coach Kelly followed him on twitter in the last couple days.

Fister?
if he gets the green light i guess we can assume that the staff has moved on from mckenzie?
Tom just crystal ball'd him to ND. Heard that he's psyched about his visit to ND this weekend and may commit if he gets the green light from the staff.

Alford and Booker will make in-school visit today and in-home visit tonight. He will OV to ND not this weekend but the next, 13th through 15th.
No staff visits to McKenzie scheduled for this week.
Sounds like we are pressing for Nelson, sending two of our big recruiting guns to visit him today and bringing him in on an OV right after ...
So is IM that big of a longshot to get his test score up? Or is the staff more enamoured with Nelson. Hmmm?
Taking McKenzies spot
As in McKenzie's offer has been retracted or just hedging bets?
I should have put my opinion on there. But the offer to Nelson seemed like something the staff new McKenzie might not get in. Plus the staff isn't on the road seeing McKenzie but they are seeing all the rest of the commits. I know Alford is busy.
I heard from someone this summer that McKenzie had/has a ton of work to do just to get into college let alone Notre Dame. Kid is a heck of a player there is no doubt. Maybe he is waiting on his test score to visit and know for sure. I don't know but as always in recruiting actions speak louder then words.
In today's Orlando Sentinel, Seabreeze's Charles Nelson named his top 4 - Florida, Notre Dame, USC, and West Virginia. Apparently, new offers keep coming in, and Charles is relishing his new found celebrity status in the recruiting world. The Sentinel's 2014 Top 100 list has Charles in at 23, and just behind Corey Holmes.
I saw some talk about him in the Quick thread and dont want to clog that thread up. Wasnt Nelson supposed to visit this last weekend??
This weekend should be fun for recruits. I just read through yesterdays press conference and Kelly said that have some stuff planned. Hopefully we get Morgan back on campus too.
Who is all visiting?
