Heard he said one of the reasons for leaving was concern about the instability of the Big East.

Leaving three days before the dead period, six days before NSD. Pretty rough.

Rutgers has done well with their basketball hire and he is young. Plus they are proud of their clean record and good graduation rates. In other words, we need to be prepared for a potentially major loss.
As for the others, there is no way Golden is going there. And Rutgers already failed before with a dour Paterno assistant so why choose Bradley? Cristobal did once coach at RU and is a good recruiter, but he is 14 games under .500 at FIU. Still if I had to guess it would be him.

He's such an overrated coach. Good hire Bucs.

Exactly. What, aside from two years as a low-level assistant with the Bears, qualifies Schiano to be an NFL head coach? For his career, he's 20 games under .500 in the Big East.
But, whatever. It's Rutgers. I just hope they leave Bobby Diaco alone.

The Bucs' lack of hiring a real NFL coach in an orderly and timely manner?

As a Buc fan, IMO, they should have never fired Raheem Morris. At least he won some games, and the team never gave up under him...
