I'm really not understanding how anyone thinks Notre Dame will blow USC out. Vegas doesn't see it, no journalists see it, I don't see it. Why? What are you seeing that the rest of the nation isn't?

Southern Cal is going to come into town loving the opportunity to **** up Notre Dame's Super Bowl night. I don't at all cherish the opportunity to play a team backed into a corner, which is what USC is right now--playing for a pride and with nothing to lose. Supremely focuses under a new coaching staff too.

It's a pretty frightening match up from my viewpoint.

Skip the game and watch ND. Tigers already won 4-1. You should try and swap them for the game 7 Sox loss on Sunday.

I think I should have clarified more. I'm sure they will be pumped, but that first game after a change is always the big one. It's like the sub who plays for an injured starter. That first game they're a mile high and when the normalcy of it sets in, things tend to find their natural level. If this would have been their first game under EO, then I would have some very bad feelings about this one. I like us to win by no more than 7 points.
