Here is my take on Rees: He honestly didn't play terribly. He had countless drops and made, for the most part, good decisions. We could have ran on them for days inside. If our defense made two more stops (They only made two all game) we could have ran all game long not putting Tommy in the situation of having to throw so much. Carlisle is looking really good, and our receivers (Hercules included) are playing great. We won't really see another QB like Gardner all season long. We got screwed on B-Jax interception, but once again it shouldn't have come to that either.
Rees played about as well as he could have. That 1st half INT did us in, but so did the defense. I thought Diaco made some adjustments but for some reason we couldn't finish on third down in the 2nd half. This one hurts but on to Purdue.
