Not sure how accurate this info is so TIFWIW but my nephew is classmates with Josh and they hangout with some of the same friends. I watched the Hell week on ESPN2 tonight and they featured Josh's school, Station Camp. My brother was at the school watching it with the team in the lecture hall and text me after it was over. He said that his son and his friends were talking after the show and Josh is considering Notre Dame as one of his two top choices. I haven't heard this anywhere else so don't know how accurate it is but wanted to pass it on so maybe someone with some inside connections could check it out.

He is between Tennessee and Notre Dame.

Never did care for him. Unlike many of the posters on here, I do not wish people well that screw us. Most of the guys that left I still follow and hope they are successful...unless they come up against us. But he is one of the few I hope never live up to the hype.

Depending on how the conversation went, I could see it easily being misinterpreted. However both ways would seem to be good news. The first option is exactly what was relayed on to you, that we are in his top two. That would be amazing news.

The other option is that he stated he is considering ND as an option for his final two, meaning we are simply in the consideration and haven't made the final 2 yet.

Considering he's only talked about taking officials to Tennessee and Georgia, I would lean to the 2nd interpretation at this point. If he starts talking about an official to ND, then I'll become a little more hopeful.

I watched "Hell Week" last night as well, and this kid is the real deal! (Long strides, ok rout running, fantastic leaping ability, and worked a little at QB. FWIW he ran read option really well and also lined up at corner. This kid jumped off the TV screen.

His team will be playing on Sunday at Noon Eastern on ESPN2 against Jalen Hurd's team

This is where I'm at. Until I see something more substantial that indicates he is still interested I can't get too excited.

Officials to Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson and Florida State. 5th visit is undecided but said he may not take a 5th.

So much for being in the final two. Even if we get a visit, we are obviously on the outside looking in.
