Per Loy He will visit ND with his parents on July 26th before going to the BBG in the Big House on July 28th. Some Michigan ppl think he will commit to UM then as they have been on him hard for a while. If ND offered which Loy expects to happen when he visits his Top 2 would be Notre Dame and Michigan.

Very electric playmaker IMO

I'm up in Mentor Ohio and I hope to catch a St. Ed's game this year. Seems small but has two years to grow.

The OC for St. Ed's is my brother, and I have been keeping an eye on Shaun and he is a blazer. He could be a WR or CB. I hope he grows but who knows, he'll only be a junior this year so there is time.

seems small for a ND corner

still has two years to grow, but could easily wind up at slot receiver without having to add any inches as he's about 5-8/5-9 right now. He ran a 10.53 Fully Auto Time non-wind aided 100m as a sophomore in high school. In short, this kid can fly. If he keeps up with the track thing he could potentially break the state record in Ohio that was set by former Ohio State RB Brandon Saine as a senior.

Visit is today. I have seen Lorenz say a couple times now that we could be major competition for UM if we offer. I think we have to today if we are going to have a chance with him headed to Michigan for the weekend. Definitely have to give him a reason to not commit while there.

Wiltfong clocked him at 4.3 hand time during the winter.

Visit going well, mom loves the campus and academics and Diaco loves his tape but not so sure the offer will come today but will at some point.

Why wait if you know you are going to? It's only going to drive him more to Michigan if he made the effort to visit and he doesn't leave with an offer IMO.

Also worth noting that his mother is a principal so academics are obviously important.

Give him the freaking offer and have him sit tight. He's not going to commit right away if he likes the skunkbears that much.

Gosh, sometimes this staff makes me scratch my head.

I agree, I think that if we dont offer now, he will commit to Michigan this weekend.

He's a 2015 prospect, right? If he is that close to committing to Michigan, he's going to eventually commit to them anyway, whether he has an ND offer or not. There is a year-and-a-half before he signs on the dotted line -- that is a lifetime in recruiting. If ND is going to make him back away from an eminent commitment to Michigan, we'll be in good shape in this early stage. If not, we won't have to play against him anyway.

That's true, just felt like ND was Michigan's only competition, and that there are going to be a lot of pressure for Shaun to commit this weekend with a lot of UofM commits and big names there.

My brother is his offensive coach at St. Eds and I have watched every game he has played. The kid is a little small (can still grow) but very explosive and could easily be an offensive stud as well. They should offer him regardless of size. The school has the Dowell twins (David and Andrew) that are also pretty darn special. Offer him now!

Parent said ND is the perfect fit for their son. Didn't get the offer because his height is a bit of a concern, he did measure in at 5'8 (!!!). Told the staff he will be back for a game and Loy doesn't expect him to commit to UM this weekend.

5'8"? He's perfect for Michigan. They love those short corners.

They like tall slow receivers since Hoke was hired. whats wrong with using a shorter, explosive player at safety in this system? Bob Sanders comes to mind immediately but there have been others recently.

5'8 is tiny. One really has to be 5'10 at a minimum. He has time working for him though.

Loy believes that we will offer at some point during his junior season and that we land him.
