Doubt he ends up at A&M. He's very academic focused, rarely talks to coaches or the media so he can focus on his studies. Will be Texas or a school like Stanford or ND IMO.

TJ at II says don't read too much into this but when Sampson was talking with Thomas he said that he plans to visit ND but doesn't have anything set at this time.

Yeah I saw the tweet, so Loy is saying he is definitely visiting this coming week and Sampson said "sometime this summer?"

Sampson confirmed a couple days ago he was visiting next week. He has not discounted that but now Jake Brown talked to him today and said this summer with no date set. From reading TJs post though I think he still may be visiting next week and just doesn't want ppl to know and wants to keep it on the down low

My bad it was Jake Brown not Sampson. I can't necessarily put this one on Loy since like STL said Sampson supposedly confirmed he was coming as well. I am going to be in cautiously optimistic camp and hoping he's just down playing it in front of others.

Side note, TJ also said that we are recruiting him as a DE.

Of course, we pretty much only recruit DEs and CATs.

This isn't news but I'm getting the vibe that ND believes with this visit we'll squarely in the mix. TJ has mentioned quite a few times that Solomon is a great fit for ND.

Maybe eventually but not very likely this weekend. He's on record last week saying that something drastic would have to happen in order for him to change his commitment. Those include sanctions, bowl ban, coaching change, etc.

Keep in mind that he said that to an Iowa State reporter when Iowa State fans were in the middle of a meltdown. Not sure how meaningful it is.

Every recruit who ever flipped has said the same thing as Lazard. Hope ND makes a huge impression on both guys.

I don't know who Iowa St.'s coach is at the moment, but I would imagine that they change somewhat frequently because they haven't been a very good program the last few decades.

Paul Rhoads. He's the old Auburn DC. This is his 4th yr there. I believe he's turned down a couple schools to stay there but I'm not positive. Players and fans love the guy.
