I once made up a book for a book report in 6th grade. Don't remember the plot.

I'm just pist (the British spelling that circumvents the filter) that I wasn't the one who started a thread that revolves around spelling.

Life on-line's a bitch.

say what? lol I've never seen it spelt that way.

Pist is the present tense form of pi$$ed, which is actually past, no?

I didn't do a history assignment in Grade 11, so a guy with the same book my assignment was on, let me use his assignment to help me finish mine. I ended up getting a better mark than he did. I LOL'd.

Tis not the mirrors themselves that are cruel; but one flawed feature of theirs, their inability to lie.

"Suit the action to the word, the word to the action, with this
special observance, that you o'erstep not the modesty of nature:
for any thing so o'erdone is from the purpose of playing, whose
end, both at the first and now, was and is, to hold as 'twere the
mirror up to nature: to show virtue her feature, scorn her own
image, and the very age and body of the time his form and
pressure."

Cliff Notes:Hamlet lectures the actors who will soon perform for his stepfather. As director, he expounds the "purpose of playing," which, from the invention of theater, has been to hold "the mirror up to nature." Here, Hamlet echoes classical authors, who insisted that drama be a form of truth, not mere entertainment. Playwrights and players should strive to present action in the most verisimilar manner, without exaggeration or distortion, without bombast or excessive sentimentality. In the theatrical mirror we see our virtues and vices reflected back to us in their true shape: that's the theater's moral function. Defensive dramatists, who had to contend with accusations of corrupting the masses, were fond of pointing out that their productions did indeed have the effect Hamlet advertises

Sonnet 62

Sin of self-love possesseth all mine eye
And all my soul, and all my every part;
And for this sin there is no remedy,
It is so grounded inward in my heart.
Methinks no face so gracious is as mine,
No shape so true, no truth of such account,
And for myself mine own worth do define,
As I all other in all worths surmount.
But when my glass shows me myself indeed,
Beated and chopped with tanned antiquity,
Mine own self-love quite contrary I read;
Self so self-loving were iniquity.
'Tis thee (my self) that for myself I praise,
Painting my age with beauty of thy days

Shakespeare

I still bet he ends up at ND. He was probably hoping to get an easy out, but when it doesn't happen he won't want to sit a year. The longer this goes with no word from his fam the more likely I feel he is Irish.
