Thank God this game is tonight. When NBA playoffs begin, I feel like I have something to watch every night. That Spurs sweep didnt help me any. And this series is great.

Plus, NBA on TNT is probably the best sports show (yes, show) in the country. Charles, Ernie, Kenny, and Shaq are perfect together. I really cant think of a sports show I'd stay up to watch until 1245 sometimes 115 or later in the morning--outside of an ESPN 30 for 30. It putts ESPN's NBA coverage to shame.

Actually, ESPN College Gameday is pretty solid, too. Fowler, Herby, Desmond and Corso seem to have a similar chemistry to the TNT crew, which makes the show seem like a half hour.

I like the Heat to win tonight but the payout for winning isn't very good and giving up 7.5 points makes me nervous. I could see the Pacers losing in close game but I could also see the Heat go all game 3 on them and blow them out.

I think I'll stay out this one maybe I'll change my mind closer to game time.

I agree with this too.

Those guys just have a more natural feel, and it doesn't seem awkward or forced to watch them interact on the show.

Also, GO PACERS

Had to go with the Pacers to cover. Which means this will probably be a blowout win for the Heat

Ask Nazr Mohammed what happens when you push somebody. What a joke the NBA has become.

A few days ago ESPN had the headline of "Are the Heat the best team ever?" If they win this year, I would still have a hard time thinking they could beat the 94-95 Houston Rockets. They are a fast food dynasty at best.

I watch these games as a neutral observer... and I just laugh at how Heat fans can possibly think the officiating is against them.

The Heat PA announcer annoys me.

His extra emphasis on certain syllables just doesn't suit me well.

Everything about the Heat annoys me. They just bit, scratched, and clawed for 30 minutes, then start puffing their chests out after a run. Their a--holes were watertight before that.

LOL at Sploestra being interviewed. He is more worthless than Steve Fisher was with the Fab Five. "go play."

Yea for the salary cap era his team is about as stacked as you can get. Vogel is the better coach in this series, and last series Tom Thibodeau was the far superior coach, and should they win Popovich is going to be the better coach in that series.

On an unrelated note does Haslem literally stand in the exact same spot every possession.

They'll be done once LeBron opts out next summer.

I'm sure the 2013 Heat would lose in a 7 game series to all of the following:

2009 and 2010 Lakers - They kill the Heat on boards and get enough offense from Kobe

2008 Celtics - Doc Rivers, and Tom Thibodeau would have found a way shut the Heat down. The 08 Celtics had alot of front court depth and would have had the rebounding edge.

2007 Spurs - Bruce Bown was the Lebron stopper

They would probably get swept by the 2005 and the 2003 Spurs as the Spurs were the best defensive team in the league in those days and if the Heat had no answer for Roy Hibbert they would certainly have no answer for Tim Duncan back when he was an MVP

2004 Pistons because their defense

They would be swept by the 2000, 2001, and 2002 Lakers as they would have not answer for Shaq. By the time the playoffs came around Shaq would finally be in shape and I don't think the Heat could stop him from get 40 points and 15 boards on a nightly basis.

1999 Spurs - David Robinson was still then so they would have both Duncan and Robinson killing them on the board

1996, 1997, 1998 Bulls - Scottie Pippen in the 90s is probably the ideal person you would want to guard Lebron.

1994, and 1995 - Hakeem kill the Heat inside, for the record I think with there defense and physical play the 1993 and 1994 Knicks would have been a problem for Miami

1991, 1992, 1993 - I these groups didn't have the regular season record of the 1996 Bulls but I feel that these Bulls were probably the best of the Bulls. Especially in 1991/1992 when Cartwright was still a fairly high level center. Horace Grant was a high level athletic 6-10 guy with long arms perferct guy to defend Chris Bosh. Then you had Pippen and Jordan at his very best.

I could go back further but I'll stop right there. So basically the only champion the 2013 Heat might have defeated in my opinion was the 2012 and 2006 Heat.

Im a life long Pacer fan, have been in attendance at every home game these playoffs and i can honestly say the NBA wants nothing to do with the pacers winning this series. Its a joke that i can fully expect every year

I know the double technical had no bearing on the outcome ( the heat were the better team tonight) of the game but if you ever needed evidence that the NBA is rigged that play itself will fully explain it
