A classmate and fellow Holy Cross Hog was John Gambone, AKA "Bones." He was on the football team. An internet search shows that he had one run in 1973 for 8 yards. No touchdown.
We were never really friends, but I sure appreciated it when he picked me up (along with a couple of other "Hogs") in his 'Vette when we were hitching a ride in Fort Lauderdale spring break my junior year.

Not a laughing matter. Have you ever been to a boneless chicken ranch? It's cruel and inhumane with birds just flopping around in the barnyard like feathered blobs of Jell-O. Saddest thing I've ever seen.
