Where u seeing Kansas?

That probably wasn't an accurate thing to say. I have seen some buzz for Kansas, but maybe no more than any of the other teams (some comments on the article from above, some folks on Twitter...). The Lawrence paper says FSU is most likely.

Ok, because almost all the articles I've read have been saying FSU with Kentucky running 2nd.

He also has family in Kinston, NC. Still believe from what i've heard he'll be a Tar Heel.

Uh yeah it matters...

2003 was the last time a freshman sensation led his team to the championship. (unless you count the freshman dream team of kentucky two years ago)

Most of these freshman sensations are good enough to get the team to play better, but its the upperclassman teams that usually win out.

so no, to me it doesn't matter.

Not sure how you could say that it doesnt matter where the consensus #1 draft pick ( right now if he could) goes. It might not result in a NC but thats not the only way to measure impact otherwise our 12-0 regular season last year means nothing. He'll have a major impact on the game and it will be very fun to watch.

Huge difference in 5 guys playing vs 22 guys playing.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of the one and done players... it is what it is.

Craziest #1 recruitment I can remember, in that everybody thinks they have a shot. KU, UK, UNC, and FSU....I have seen a lot of buzz here recently for the Hawks, but who knows. Honestly KPENN, the only one I haven't seen significant buzz for is UNC, which means that's probably where he is going.

First......BOOM.

Second.....What the hell is wrong w/ people?!?!?!? The worst part about the internet is the ease w/ which these a-holes can "contact" kids like him. Unreal how many HUGE losers are out there.

We've been rebuilding every year since the national championship in 2008. We just happen to have won the Big XII every year, gone to an elite 8, appeared in another title game, etc. Bill Self has magic.

There would have been some Kansas fans tweeting the same stuff if he had picked UK. Every fan base has its select morons. Too bad.

Very excited to watch this kid play for KU next year. He's as talented as they come and makes Kansas an instant NC contender (if they weren't already). Could be like Carmelo at Syracuse in 2003 ... win an NC and done.

He needs to go to college

...for 7 months, then he can go pro. This makes sense.

I'd feel a lot better about a 2-year rule for the NBA if they are going to make kids to school. Not perfect, but the go to school until March thing never sat right with more. Another year makes them commit to the school aspect of it more hopefully.
