If that 40 time is accurate, holy sh*t. Sign him up!

edit: this was a joke based on STL still finishing his profile. I no longer think it's funny since this kid is a dick.

Mr. Brown was also at the NJ camp along with Nelson and Mustipher. He put on a show according to Farrell. Nobody could cover him and he caught everything thrown his way. Really happy with this offer and thanks STL for putting up his profile.

Well, I just took a quick look at his twitter. Guy doesn't look like an RKG to me.

Tweets aside, this kid is a beast, absolutely dominated the Rivals Camp (will be a 4:s: soon according to Hare) and is a big mismatch when he plays WR

Despite having a timeline full of ND hate, he'll surely now mutter the usual platitudes about being honored by the interest from our coaching staff.

It's too bad he doesn't like ND because he'd be a nice little MLB for Diaco to use.

This thread needs to be cleaned up. Kid may be immature, he may hate ND, he may even despise us, but I don't want him coming on here and reading this stuff just in case it's not what it seems.

If the staff wants him and thinks he's worthy of an offer, then I want him.

FWIW Random poster on II said he went to his HS a year ahead of him and he definitely wanted an ND offer and there is a strong ND presence at the school.

people are taking twitter way to seriously. I might be a statement for all the world to see but millions of people were saying the same at the time. He had no offer from us at the time and probably never talked to us also.

I get what you are saying. Same with the point made about Chase calling us lame. But if a conclusion is drawn incorrectly because you put info out there for millions of people to see if they choose to - that's on you. If your goal is to play in college you might want to make sure you don't come across as a punk to the fans and staff of ANY college. I just wish kids understood that what they put out there for all to see will never truly go away. He shouldn't hate on Manti, but he should instead learn from him, Yuri, and every other case of foot in mouth from bad twitter/social media usage.

Agreed entirely, but he's what 16. It was a mistake and obviously our staff has noticed this. They wouldn't offer a kid and visit him if they weren't sold on his character and judgment. All I'm saying is some people in this thread are acting like he should make a public apology and to me thats nonsense.

The thing is, we see these tweets as a mistake. If he never deleted them then he doesn't think they're a mistake. Also, I question how much the staff knows about these kids' character and judgements. Sure they'll know if they've been arrested or not but other than that how much could they possibly know?

I was the user on II who went to his high school for a year. Very strong ND presence there. His varsity coach freshman year(who has since passed away) was there for over 40 years I think and was an ND grad and on the 1966 championship team. It won't be an easy pull but my friends still there say ND definitely has a realistic shot.

Schools look deeply into social media. My family has several college athletes my two cousins play football for rutgers and miami, I myself play lacrosse meaning we have all gone through the recruiting process. Loyola University was one of the schools who did recruit me and when I sat down with them the first thing they did was turn on a computer and go straight to facebook. I had a couple of pictures from parties that showed the use of alcohol. They asked me to go through the situation and explain my story. Both of my cousins had the same thing happen to them so all I'm saying is that these things are dealt with.

I don't think that's the case (see Yuri Wright's recruitment). This is a process for the staff as well; evaluation is on-going.

It's not safe to assume that every recruit who receives an offer has already undergone an extensive background and character check. While I'd hope our staff researches social media profiles before offering a kid, I'm not confident they have resources dedicated to doing so.

Football programs tend toward Luddism.
