Every team passes the ball, and if you're good enough, you'll be showcased in any offense. See, Amari Cooper. Unless this guy is considering Georgia Tech or the service academies, he shouldn't be making any decision based on 'how much they throw'.

Other than Davaris Daniels we do not have any potential first round picks. I love what tj brings to the table, but he is never going to be a player that can take over the game. I want to see C. J. as well but I just do not know. Chris Brown could be special. But I think the staff would still want to continue to bring in difference makers.

you don't need first round wr's to win games. we lost ours and went undefeated.

O I know, but I believe the staff would continually love to upgrade their talent. I'm also not saying that I dont like our wide receivers right now, but I like wide receivers like Malone and Quick as well

You should watch Quick's tape and while you are at it watch Juju Smith play WR.

I'm sticking with Malone as my top guy. Quick and Juju are both GREAT athletes, not taking anything away from either, but Malone looks like the guy with the most potential to be the most complete WR. He's got the height and the ball skills to go up and make catches in the air over top of DBs, but I also loved his elusiveness and acceleration. This is a 6'3" boundary receiver who also looks like a legit punt return threat. Love that combination.

Love Quick too though. Talk about a punt return threat. Watching that tape made me sad that Davonte Neal is gone ... getting Quick would really lift my spirits.

I prefer Juju at safety. Love his physicality. Other prospects are a little smoother evading tacklers; what really stood out to me on Juju's tape was his ability to cover ground and deliver a hit. My $0.02.

idk who said we are lacking at WR, but i believe we need to develop the talent we have there very quickly due to the fact that we lack experienced depth, which is a fact.

I'm in the complete minority on Juju. I need to watch his tape again.

EMCEE77: What do you think of Saeed Blacknall tape?

I watched Malone's tape again. He is solid WR prospect, but I'm not as impressed as everyone else is.

I'm not EMCEE, but I thought Saeed's tape was the best I've seen so far this year. He has lots of strength, speed, and early on in his tape (2nd highlight I believe?) he runs a button hook to perfection. Great cuts.

Malone has elite speed, IMO.

Agree about Saeed's tape.

But, I question if Malone has "elite" speed.

He's not a sub 4.4 guy, but I bet he's in the 4.4s, which will challenge just about every safety in the country. Basically he's a guy you have to keep an eye on every time. Again, I'm terrible at scouting so just MO.

Fair enough, do you guys think he's faster than Saeed? It's damn close. I'll take Saeed because he looks stronger. Strength at WR = YAC.

this is what i said about saeed: AJ Green 2.0...man is this kid athletic and once he catches that ball...he gone

Saeed looks to me hands down faster, bigger and stronger ...He's at the top of my list plus he looks like he can jump out of the gym....example look at the 20 sec mark of Saeed's highlight tape...he takes a little dump pass and u could just see him take off like a crotch rocket(no redhead jokes) at the i believe 26 sec mark he runs right passed the defender who had a perfect angle but he was just that fast

I liked Saeed's tape too. I'm sticking with Malone as my top guy though.

Saeed looks stronger, it's true (he reminded me a little of Juju), but I like how smoothly Malone makes cuts and avoids tackles without slowing down. It's rare to see a guy as tall and gangly as he is who also has that unhittable quality, or ability to make tacklers look silly, like they took the wrong angle or something. I usually call that quality "elusiveness." Anyway, it requires really quick feet and you rarely see guys over 6'3" who have it (Ty Isaac was one ... I always thought he was a great prospect).

Interesting take. i was actually not a big Ty Isaac fan on the offensive side of the ball. Thought he would be a better fit at lb.

The visit was eye-opening, and we are definitely in the mix with his top group, which they did not say who that was.

More quotes. Enjoyed meeting Kelly and Denbrock, both coaches talked about themselves and their backgrounds as well as where he'd fit in on the football field. Was there with his mother. Thought the campus was great and learning about the academic side was his highlight. Will probably visit again. According to him we're in a good position with him at the moment.
