She was a great lady, and a tough as nails leader when Great Britain needed one. May she RIP.

Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II were instrumental with the fall of communism. She was a incrediable leader BUT she made an absolute mess in Northern Ireland.

If there were ever any doubt on her effect as a "strike-buster", check this out:

More than a little ironic that the state is spending millions of dollars on a funeral and to celebrate a patron saint of privatization.

God called Maggie Thatcher because Heaven needs lower interest rates to curb its inflation problems

With good reason, dealing with the Hillsborough disaster.

Those would be Everton fans.. not Liverpool.. and pretty sure, more to the real point they are also certainly leftists... I have family in Scotland, if you believe what you read the whole of Scotland hates her,... except they don't. Let's get real here... they don't like her politics and make a bunch of lame *** conspiracy driven excuses to not like her beyond that... So go ahead and pick your politician, someone you admire, wait until they die… someone out there has beef with that person believe me, and apparently they can always rationalize sick levels of disrespect with something...

Funny story -- the name "Iron Lady" was first written by a Soviet newspaper, and was meant as an insult. But the Britons seemed to like it, and the name stuck.
