So much for visiting ND in March? Didn't even know Michigan was in the picture here.....

Hate to say it, but the way Hoke's been recruiting up front, I think Michigan's in play for just about any OL in the Midwest

Yeah, whoever is doing the recruiting for their OL is doing an utterly fantastic job.

Hoke came by his high school a little while back. My bro is the wrestling coach, he and Hoke spoke a bit and he reports he's a pretty good guy.

So clearly, my source, my bro is a turncoat and can no longer be trusted. :)

In all seriousness, if I hear anything, I'll let you guys know. My fellow IE geeks are the only ones that get as excited as I do about this recruiting stuff.

Anything can happen when they visit, we all know that, but I really don't think he'll end up at Michigan from what I have heard. I really like ND's chances if he goes far, and "north". They are a real close family, high value on education. Sister at TCU on the track team, wouldn't shock me if he ended up there. Dad played at KU, but CW has his work cut out for him.

Just my opinion, but I think it's Big 12/ND/SEC maybe before it's Michigan. They have been kickin a$$ recruiting o-line lately, but so have the Irish :).

According to 247 will be at OSU on the 18th, Michigan the 20th and Notre Dame the 22nd. Days in between are travel days with the visit beginning/concluding that morning/night.

I'm a fan of getting in the 3rd stop.

Also won't have any other visits after that until June. He will sit on that ND visit for a long time.

With my teenagers, I would have to assume that they would sleep till noon eat at 2:00, get to hotel at 5:00 and thus the "travel day" is shot.

The thing is, scUM's depth chart for OL isn't so attractive anymore. Which makes these scUM commits at OL all the more surprising.

Michigan picked up 4 OG's last year and 2 other O-Lineman. They already have Mason Cole who is a OG imo. I really think that could be enough to keep Smith away from the Maze and Yellow.

maize and blue

Actually I think its something like sun and blue now. Nike had rights to the color maize and when they switched to Adidas, they had to come up with another color. Sun is a brighter yellow than maize was.

Just another interesting fact about Michigan, that makes me want to say all the more, "Fukk Michigan!"
